Last week the whole nation paid tribute to the sacrifices made by servicemen and women over the years but particularly in the First World War. The children in school also paid their own tribute; we held a moving act of remembrance at the cenotaph outside St John’s Church, joined by a good number of family friends and members of the community. In the afternoon, the children entertained family and friends in school with an afternoon of songs and poetry; the Y6 children served tea, coffee and the cakes that the school had made and decorated. We also collected over £140 for the British Legion. Well done to the children and thank you for your support. Welcome to the latest edition of the Newsletter. Last week the whole nation paid tribute to the

sacrifices made by servicemen and women over the years but particularly in the First World War.

The children in school also paid their own tribute; we held a moving act of remembrance at the

cenotaph outside St John’s Church, joined by a good number of family friends and members of the

community. In the afternoon, the children entertained family and friends in school with an afternoon

of songs and poetry; the Y6 children served tea, coffee and the cakes that the school had made and

decorated. We also collected over £140 for the British Legion. Well done to the children and thank

you for your support.
