Workstation desks are an important element in the proposition of a multimedia classroom because they must comply with the needs of work, space and respect the design.Tecnilab was founded in 1970 with the planning and realisation of language laboratories and multimedia classrooms. The Series 60’-61’ workstations pro-vide a horizontal design for writing, without holes, grooves or protru-sions. The housing of the monitor is on an inclination positioned at the rear of the workstation, thus allowing the student to use a free work surface area; the keyboard and mouse can be placed on the same surface or on the extractable keyboard draw. The workstations can be perfectly com-bined to form larger work surfaces without leaving empty spaces be-tween them.

The structure of the series 90’-91’ workstations is com-pletely wood without the use of metal parts. The writing surface is horizontal, without holes, grooves or protrusions. The compartment housing the cables and equipment is lo-cated below the work surface.
