Senior TMT Lawyer

(5yrs+/SA/SC)

Sydney

We are looking for a senior level lawyer – either an experienced SA or special

counsel – to join the Sydney office of this interna�onal law firm.

Our client is offering the opportunity for a senior level lawyer to exploit

exis�ng client rela�onships and assume the posi�on of a key resource within

the na�onal telecommunica�ons media and technology team.

Descripon of the posion

The TMT team consists of a number of highly experienced partners who are

rated as leaders in the majority of legal professional publica�ons.

The exis�ng client rela�onships include clients from the energy and

resources, educa�on, financial services, transport, government and real

estate industries.

On offer is the ability to work on varied tasks including:

• technology;

• outsourcing;

• e-commerce;

• communica�ons; and,

• intellectual property.

It is without ques�on a unique opportunity for someone at this level to work

closely with partners from interrelated teams on some of Australia’s leading

technology projects whilst establishing themselves as a leader within the

TMT sector.

You will be given a clear path to the partnership within a short �meframe.

Requirements for the posion

To be considered, you will have at least 5 years post admission experience

gained from a strong TMT prac�ce group and be a partner aspirant.

Corporate (IT) Lawyer

(4 to 6yrs)

Sydney

We are looking for up to two intermediate to senior level lawyers to join this

na�onal law firm’s Corporate team with a focus on technology transac�ons.

Our client is undergoing significant growth within their blue chip client base

which has provided the catalyst for the need for addi�onal resources.

Descripon of the posion

This role will see you working for two highly regarded partners across a

broad range of industries with a par�cular focus on telecommunica�ons and

informa�on technology.

You will be work across a range of transac�ons including having the oppor-

tunity to dra1 distribu�on, supply, service, strategic alliance, sponsorship,

marke�ng, so1ware developments, licensing and consul�ng agreements. In

addi�on, you will regularly provide advice rela�ng to consumer protec�on,

privacy and data protec�on.

This role will offer you numerous secondment opportuni�es.

Requirements for the posion

To be successful for this role you must have at least 4 years IT law experience

from a well known prac�ce. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and

enjoy client contact.

Senior TMT Lawyer

(4 to 7yrs/incl SA)

Brisbane

We are looking for a senior level lawyer with 4 to 7 years post admission

experience to join this leading Technology, Media and Telecommunica�ons

team’s Brisbane office.

It is an opportunity that will suit a lawyer or SA looking to assume a high

level of responsibility and assist with the growth of the prac�ce with a view

to becoming a partner in the future .

Descripon of the posion

The firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunica�ons team work with

leading clients, in a broad array of industries, on the full range of sourcing

and strategic technology transac�ons.

The lawyers have substan�al experience structuring and nego�a�ng

domes�c and interna�onal informa�on technology and business process

outsourcing arrangements, technology and media licensing,

technology-based strategic alliances and joint ventures.

In addi�on to receiving high level mentoring/training from the partner, you

will have the opportunity to work closely with other talented lawyers in the

team.

It is a great opportunity for someone at this level to be a key member of the

team and have a clear path to partnership.

Requirements for the posion
