THE ADVANTAGES
• Teacher spends less time on presenting and more time crafting hands on learning activities
• Teachers will find the material that is covered with more depth and retention the first time around, saving them time and energy in the long run
• Teachers need to believe in their student’s abilities and validate each student’s contribution to the classroom

• Allows students to bring their observations into lesson, discussion, or creation activity as prior
knowledge

• Film festivals
• Online publishing
• Contest and competitions
