Key Stage 3To model
a Mobile Phone Holder
Task: II 1. To develop an understanding
of modelling!2. To look at other ideas!
Learning Intentions:
WALT: We are learning to -
• use card to make a 3D model;
• use front, side views of phones as a starting point for sketching a design.
Learning Intentions: Card Modelling
WALT: We are learning to: –
1.model in card - scoring, cutting, folding and gluing;
2.measure accurately;
3.measure and mark out a profile / using a
template/s;
4.use the process of folding card to make a model
phone holder.
Learning Intentions:
WALT: We are learning to: -
6.draw light construction lines;
7.draw parallel lines
8.draw two views of a simple working drawing;
9.add three important dimensions to a working
drawing;
Success Criteria:
WILF: What I’m looking for; -
1. any one of the given
shapes made into a card
model;
2. your phone to fit easily
in and out of this model.
