‘DOCUSIGN’ FOR VTIGER CRM 5.4.0

1) Introduction

The ‘DocuSign’ is Module designed for vtiger CRM 5.4.0. In addition with usage of this module the pdf gets more value and there is a legal proof and legal agreement between the indulge companies or persons or authorities. Therefore, the intention was to provide powerful and flexible tool which allows users of vtiger CRM to digitally sign the document or pdf’s.

The DocuSign benefits are:

Reduced postage, shipping, paper and printing costs. Reduced process cycle time. Faster completion of business agreements. Customer convenience. Improved ability to audit processes and transactions for compliance and

nonrepudiation. Accessible anytime, anywhere.

2) What is DocuSign

DocuSign is a provider of cloud-based electronic signature technology that facilitates exchanges of contracts, tax documents and legal materials. DocuSign’s features include features like authentication services, user identity management and workflow automation. The signatures processed by DocuSign are comparable to traditional signatures based on the ESIGN Act as well as the European Union’s Directive on eSignatures.

DocuSign is the leading eSignature solution in the market allowing easy, efficient, and secure signing of electronic documents. Accessible anytime, anywhere, on any device, businesses of all sizes and industries solve their paper problems by replacing manual, paper-based methods with DocuSign to accelerate transactions to increase speed to results, reduce costs, improve visibility and control, and delight customers.

3) Requirements

vtigerCRM version (e.g. 5.4.0)

Please take a backup of your database and V-tiger instance before installing the Docusign module.

In order to use the docusign api we need to use Enterprise edition of Docusign account as the other versions do not allow the api access, which is necessary for docusign module. please click here to view different account of docusign click here

4) Assumption We assume that soap services are enabled at your server, if not then you need to

enable the soap services.

5) How to install ‘Docusign’ Module. Please take a backup of your database and V-tiger instance before installing the DocuSign module.

Please follow the following steps in order to install DocuSign Module:

5.1 Install the .zip package of the ‘DocuSign’ module via Settings -> Module Manager. Click

on the button.

5.2 Select the module zip (package) file that was previously exported or created. Click on the button.

It is highly recommended to finish the installation without any interruption. For successful installation we need to exchange information (see previous chapter for details).

5.3 Verify the import details parsed from the zip file. Please check that you accepted the license agreement and click to proceed or to cancel.

6) Configure Docusign API

Note: - If you have an account and API key, then no need to follow below step directlyswitch to the Point. 8:- Set the generated Docusign API in ‘Docusign’ Module Settings.

For API key you need to register and login on the docusign websitehttp://www.docusign.com/developer-center

After registration please verify your email.

Login to docusign with your email and password.

Click on account, and then click on API

8) Set the generated DocuSign Integrator key in DocuSign Module Settings:-

Note: - We can set the Docusign Integrator key either by below procedure or by click on

Settings->Module Manager->Custom Modules->Docusign (hammer icon).

Enter the Email id, password, Integrator key and then select if you want to use pdf maker module yes/no, then click save, now you will see next screen as below.

Here you can set relation of docusign module with different module you want (if pdf check box is

selected in step 1), by default the modules shown in screen shoot are set by default. Now Click

save. Now you will be redirected to List view of docusign module.

9) Usage of Docusign module:-

‘Docusign’ Module form fields.

1) ‘Link To ‘:- Select a desired record from Leads/Organizations/Contacts/Vendors whichever is selected.

2) ‘Email Address’:- Auto generated when desired contact is selected in ‘Link To’ field.3) ‘Sales’:- Select the pdf from Invoice/Quote/Purchase Order Sales Oder.4) ‘Send File’:-Drop down to choose which pdf to send for sign Embedded/Manual

a. Embedded: - Internal pdf of vtiger from selected value in ‘Sales’ field.Enabled Fields: - I) ‘Link To’ II) ‘Sales’

b. ‘Manual’:- External pdf other then vtiger pdf’s can sent by selecting this valueEnabled Fields: - I)’File Name’ II) ‘Download Type’.I) ‘File Name’:- to specify the external pdf that need to be signed.II) ‘Download Type’:- to specify the pdf’s path internal or external.

5) ‘Email1’ :- If you wish to sign your document with two signers, then also fill ‘Email1’ field, otherwise keep it blank.In this case both receipient will need to follow step 10) to complete signature process.
