Communication Cantec Audio System (6 station) single ring. Internal paging to all areas. Sennheiser, infra-red sound loop system throughout. Show relay to Control room and all dressing rooms. C.A.T.V. relay to all dressing rooms + audio and video tie lines.
Projection Facilities 1 x Front projection screen 4m x 3m 2 x Overhead projectors Additional screens and projectors may be hired-in at the visiting company’s expense. Please advise 3 weeks in advance if required.

Incoming Equipment Restrictions No surface cables or stands allowed in Auditorium area. 2 x 10” Wavin piping for Sound + Lighting multicore under floor, from stage left to FOH mix position. 40 Channel House Multi: 32 sends & 8 returns Monitor Desks, amps, cables, trussing, etc, must be masked. All incoming equipment must be properly flight cased or protected to avoid damage to floor & surrounds.

Flying Points Will be provided as per plan from hirer. All Flying- interfacing with house systems etc: under the supervision of UCH Technical Manager or UCH Stage manager.
Fire \ Safety Certificates required for all masking drapes etc. It is the responsibility of the visiting company to supervise their own equipment. The in house fire safety announcement will be played 3 – 5 minutes approx. before each performance A full risk assessment should be forwarded after contract/final agreement has been confirmed

Sound and Light
Operating Positions The in-house sound and lighting positions are located in the Control Room at the back of the auditorium. Alternative sound and lighting operating positions may be located in a central area within the auditorium. This requires the removal of seats and notice should be given to UCH 3 weeks prior to the event to facilitate the withdrawal of those seats from general sale.
