10. Driver Details : Centrifugal Pump motor rating shall be the larger the

following:

1).The maximum power required

by the pump at any point

over its entire range of

capacity i.e.,from zero to

run-out dischargeat site

climatic conditions.

2).110% of the power required

at the duty point at site

climatic conditions.

11. Driver power rating & speed in Supplier's to specify as per

design.

12. Insulation : Class F with Temp. rise limited

to 70Deg.Centigrade over Ambient

of 50 Deg.Centigrade.

14. Tests & Inspection:

i. As per ANSI/HI 14.6 or ISO 9906.

ii. Performance test, tests for NPSHR, vibration, bearing

housing temperature, etc. of all the ordered quantity of

each type/model shall be witnessed at manufacturer's

site/test facility.

iii.Certification/Test reports for Hydrostatic test of

Casings & Covers, Materials of Construction, Electric

Motor (prime mover) and Mechanical Seals shall be

reviewed.

iv. Visual & Dimensional inspection of the pump assemblies

shall be carried out at manufacturer's site prior to

dispatch.

15. Instruction Manuals & As-built Pump Parts List to be provided

along with the supply.

General Requirements:

1. Pump Makes (as per Standardized Mechanical & Engineering

Items List of NFC)-AKAY (Chemflo Pump), KISHOR, Process

Pump, Grundfos, KSB, Johnson, Kirloskar, Flow dyne,

Flowchem.

2. The bidder should quote with detailed literature,

outline/GA drawing of the pump showing parts list with

Materials of Construction, pump data sheet, performance data

/curves, mechanical seal drawing and driver detail for each

type of pump.

3. Spares for 2 year trouble free operation to be quoted

separately. But those will not be considered for price

comparison.
