The sensor kit is composed of a pressostat sensor and a loose receiver. The wireless pressostat sensor needs to be "recorded" on the loose receiver.

The loose receiver (code P22821), provided with the sensor kit, has been developed for only receiving signaling from the pressostat sensor. The communication signal works at a frequency channel different from the communication frequency from the remote control (TX used to activate the gate opener ECU).

The entire system is composed of three parts: Edge sensor, pressostat sensor and loose receiver.

The transmitting system is composed of two parts: Pressostat sensor and loose receiver.

1st step – In order to install the transmitter, one first has to install the edge sensor, the mechanical part (rigid profile and flexible profile), according to what is described on the manual, and also according to the needs and models chosen.

2nd step – Once the edge sensor has been installed, one must fix the pressostat sensor transmitter on a rigid part, by using the three main screws.

3rd step – The loose receiver must be installed near the gate ECU, and connected according to next picture. The loose receiver is connected to the input of the photocell sensor of the gate ECU.

Yellow wire – FOT (contact)Red wire – 15V (positive)

Orange wire – GND (negative)Brown wire – Not connected.

Cut the wire according to the picture and connect it to the gate ECU

4th step – In order to record the pressostat sensor to the Alcance 300MHz Receiver, one must:1 Manually activate the edge sensor installed on the gate;2 While the edge sensor is being activated, the pressostat

transmitter activates the LED and transmits the radio signal while the LED is blinking. Note: The transmission has a time interval of about 700ms, and several activations will be needed in order to the sensor to transmit longer and with a constant transmission pattern.

3 When the sensor is transmitting, press the button on the loose receiver board so that it is recorded. Press only once!

4 Perform a functional check:Activate the edge sensor once and the LED on the receiver will light up

for a short period of time and then it starts blinking again. That’s it! The system is installed and ready to be used.

Now, verify the entire system:With the gate open, press the button of the remote control. The

gate will close. When the gate is closing, activate the edge sensor installed. The gate will stop and reverse its movement; the gate will open again.

7.2. Installing the wired pressostat sensor, system used in automatic barriers

Installing the wired pressostat sensor is pretty simple! One only has to connect the wires of the pressostat sensor directly on the ECU of the gate opener, to the photocell input connection.
