JRoc Development is a high-end residential and mixed-use development company with an affinity for modern architecture and forward thinking urban design. The team was built around a core urban vision—an opportunity to build communities that reflect their people by pulling together past and present with a tailored and “hand-made” ethos.
JRoc is about the journey—the journey to find the right site that embodies the potential for true transformation, the journey to cultivate creative and interesting space through modern design, the meticulous journey and attention to the finest details during construc-tion and the journey to find those that share our vision and ultimately call our develop-ments home.
This is where analog meets digital—one eye toward the history of the city, the climate and the physical neighborhood context, and the other ambitiously focused on the opportuni-ties of modern design and the intangible impact of aesthetics.
W O R K S P R O G R E S S A R C H I T E C T U R E
Works Progress Architecture is a progressive architectural design studio located in the Pacific Northwest. Carrie Strickland and William Neburka launched W.PA together in 2005. W.PA has since established a design approach rooted in clear conceptual diagrams appliedacross a wide spectrum of project types while responding to individual site, program, andenvironmental requirements. W.PA’s approach walks a line between sexy and stern andechoes simplicity in the face of ever evolving complexity, a quiet amid the cacophony ofthe newest. Over the past ten years, W.PA has been presented with more than 25 designawards and has been lauded on a national scale for notable work and contributions to de-sign, including the 2013 AIA NW&P Region Emerging Firm award, a place in ArchitecturalRecord’s 2010 Design Vanguard publication, and a 2010 Progressive Architecture award.
We work to find the simplicity in things; for in that simplicity there will be an economy of means, and in that economy there is often a truth. And in that truth, there can be a pro-found beauty.

Rycon Construction, Inc., founded in 1989, provides preconstruction, general contracting, and construction management services throughout 25+ states. An ENR Top 400 Contractor and ENR Top 100 Green Contractor with offices in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Ft. Lauderdale, Rycon specializes in new construction, renovations, and design-build proj-ects. Rycon’s portfolio consists of projects valued up to $100 million each including work in health care, higher education, light industrial, commercial, multi-unit residential, retail, financial, governmental, and LEED facilities.
