    What is problem solving? During this one-day interactive course, participantsexplore ways to create an appropriate math environment and understandtheir role as a problem solving facilitator. Educators solve routine and non-routine problems, focus on askinggood questions, and discuss problem-solving strategies. This new, research-based professional development course enhances mathematics contentknowledge, skills, and instructional strategies.

    Price:$2,599 for up to 25 participants($85 per additional participant up to 50)

    Outcome:After completing the Teaching Through Problem Solving course, participants will:

    Learn to identify the differences between content standards andprocess standards

    Understand the difference between routine and non-routine wordproblems

    Practice problem-solving strategies along with the four-step problem-solving process

    Learn how to create an environment that encourages students to solveproblems
