Just two conclusions… Solo due conclusioni ...
1) New Zealand’s mental health and addiction problems cannot be
fixed by government alone, nor by the health system.I problemi di salute mentale e dipendenza della Nuova Zelanda non possono essere risolti dal solo governo, né dal sistema sanitario.
2) We can’t medicate or treat our way out of the epidemic of
mental distress and addiction...Non possiamo curare o curare la nostra via d'uscita dall'epidemia di disagio mentale e dipendenza ...

mental distress solely as medical problems with social
implications to understanding that these are social
problems with medical implications.

mitigation of the symptoms of the illness rather than
on the well-being of people served and their re-
integration into the community at large.

(easy), but are fundamentally about a change in values

• How do we overcome our own complicity and vested
