Parking and Dining Options for TA Orientations January 5th and 7th, 2016

Parking:

Parking is available in two main lots (AD3 and GS4) between the Carolina Coliseum/ Business School and the Colonial Life Arena. Except where noted, these lots are general parking, meaning that any decal is allowed access. Metered parking is found on most USC streets in 2-hr and 5-hr limits, quarters only. Hourly rate

($1/hr) visitor parking is available in all USC garages (Pendleton, Bull, Blossom, Sumter, Horizon, Discovery Plaza).

Important Locations: Williams-Brice Nursing Building TA Orientations for Spring 2016 will be held in this building. Located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Greene and Pickens Streets, this building complex includes both the Williams-Brice Nursing Building and Williams-Brice Auditorium, and is situated behind the Welsh Humanities and Gambrell Buildings, and next to the Colloquium Café. The Williams-Brice Nursing Building’s first floor exits directly onto Greene Street.

The Russell House The Russell House is USC’s Student Center, located on Greene Street between Sumter and Bull Streets. There are several dining options within the Russell House as well as an information desk and USC Bookstore (with Starbucks Café) located on the 2nd (main) floor. Russell House Information Desk: (803) 777-3196.

Thomas Cooper Library and the Center for Teaching Excellence The reflecting pool adjacent to the Russell House on Greene Street is directly in front of the main entrance to the Thomas Cooper Library. The Center for Teaching Excellence is located on the 5th floor (one floor down), Room L511. CTE main desk: (803) 777-8322.

Parking is available in the AD3 and GS4 lots between the Coliseum and Colonial Life Arena.

These lots do not require a parking permit prior to classes starting. Hourly rate visitor parking is

available in the Bull Street Garage (and others). Parking meters are available on campus streets.
