Parent Portal Information

Dear Parent: Would you like to check your child’s quarterly grades, attendance, discipline record and more? For the 2010-11 school year, Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools) is introducing an expanded Parent Portal. Parent Portal is an online website that provides you with specific information about your child and school (see below). To access Parent Portal, simply click on the link below and use the username and password that your child brought home at the start of the school year. If you need help or support accessing Parent Portal, contact the City Schools Command Center at (443) 984-2000. Access Parent Portal –Just click HERE or go to http://pp.bcpss.org

The Observer Gateway on the Parent Portal allows access to the courses each of your children is enrolled in with City Schools:

• OBSERVER GATEWAY - Displays the name of the child and courses currently being observed

• MY COURSES - Displays links to student courses

On the TSS Parent Portal you will have the ability to Add-A-Child to your account; Find-A-Teacher, School, or Principal; and access the Parent Connect to view quarterly grades, attendance and discipline of each of your children:

The Parent tab in the TSS Parent Portal has links to many parent resources. And, on the Student Resource tab, you will find many links to Digital Libraries and Online Resources for you and your children. These resources are provided by the district in an effort to assist you and your child in advancing their education.
