TEACHER AS RESEACHER As the world is going through rapid changes and challenges where globalization has made reform to human civilization is a subject that everyone must look into. This transformation is an ongoing process that had started a few decades ago still has high demand on every single person in a modern society. To be a part of this metamorphosis, teachers should change the way they think in order to change every individual that they meet in their professional carrier. According to Albert Einstein recited by Bala (2014) page 10, “if a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference they are: the father, the mother and the teacher.’ Teachers are one of the main pillars of sound and progressive society. A reflective teacher is aware of every problem that he faces in his carrier as a teacher. Classroom problem related to curriculum should be the teacher’s curiosity. An eagerness to look into problems in very critical way can lead into a systematic inquiry. This self transformation can lead into major impact on students’ beliefs and practices in their academic life. A teacher who is constantly engage in action research can benefit the teacher, student and society. Therefore, according to Bala (2014), action research is deliberate.
