    The Teach For Pakistan Fellowship is a highly selecve, full me, two-year, paid employment opportunity. This experience is designed as an incredibly unique journey of leadership, intended for those willing to take on immense challenges and own the process of learning and growth. Fellows will be Teach For Pakistan employees as well as full me staff members of the schools in which they are placed.

    Position:

    A bachelors degree from an accredited instuon. Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply All coursework towards undergraduate or post-graduate degree must be completed by June 2015 Proficiency in speaking, reading and wring English and Urdu - the medium of instrucon in placement schools is Urdu Willingness to make the two-year commitment with placement in Karachi or Lahore

    Two-year teaching commitment:

    Teach For Pakistan Fellows will be required to teach for two consecuve years in an under-resourced school in either Lahore or Karachi. During this period, they will be responsible for meeng performance benchmarks outlined for student achievement. Fellows will be expected to develop strong relaonships with all stakeholders in the school as well as the organizaon. Fellows are currently placed in Classes 3 through 8 and teach a combinaon of the following subjects: English, Mathemacs, Science and Urdu. While applicants can indicate preferences, finalplacement decisions are made by Teach For Pakistan.

    Training & Leadership Development:

    Fellows will be required to successfully graduate from a mandatory six-week Training Instute to qualify for placement in schools in August 2015. Fellows are provided ongoing support, throughout the two years, based on the Teaching As Leadership framework (www.teachingasleadership.org) which is used across the Teach For All network. Fellows will implement these principles every day as they develop innovave soluons to lead their students in the classroom and beyond. Fellows will also have access to unique leadership and professional development opportunies based on Teach For Pakistans leadership development framework and through workshops, internaonal conferences, internships and mentoring and networking events with leading professionals from the corporate, government and non-profit sectors.

    Career Opportunies & Alumni Support:

    Our growing network of graduate schools and employer supporters recognize the Fellowship experience as a unique leadership development experience. In the past, Teach For Pakistan Fellows have been accepted at world renowned graduate schools such as Harvard University, Columbia University and University of Oxford internaonally and the Instute of Business Administraon (IBA) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Pakistan. They have also successfully secured internship and full-me opportunies at top employer organizaons such as Unilever, P&G and The World Bank. Fellows are also provided with connued guidance throughout the two years by Teach For Pakistans Alumni Impact team who works closely with them to connect their current experience with their long term career goals.

    What The Role Entails:

    The Fellowship is a full-me, paid posion with benefits including medicalcoverage, transportaon allowance and an end of two year bonus.Salary: (Rs. 35,000) plus transportaon allowance.
