The TDI IN-FORM web app was designed to assist your dealership in managing the TDI settlement vehicles that are processed at your store.

This web application is compatible with desktops and laptops, running the most current version of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Explorer. This includes handheld Android devices. It also works through a web app with iPads and iPhones running iOS9 or higher software.

To get comfortable with the tool before the launch of the Approved Emission Modification, we have put together a practice checklist that you can access at https://demo-tdi-inform.track360.com/.

Since this is a practice site, there are some important items to note:

• Settings function is disabled

• Your completed forms are not saved to the database

• You can access every form regardless of job title

• You can complete the forms out of order

• You cannot send yourself a completed PDF. However, you can download and print a SAMPLE completed PDF of the checklist

• You cannot generate a repair receipt or an EPA label. However, you can download and print a SAMPLE receipt and label

Now, let’s get started:

1. You begin at the Welcome Screen where you enter the VIN by typing in eight zeroes.

2. After the VIN has been entered, the VIN Search Results drop-down box is populated. You will have a Gen 3 test VIN to select.

3. A modal appears, giving you the option to select the Buyback or Service Forms.

4. Let’s start with the two forms designed for the Buyback and Early Lease terminations.

IMPORTANT! After a form has been completed, you have the option to download and print a SAMPLE PDF. Please select the form while it is in read-only mode. From here you can select View/Send PDF.

7. Logistics Handoff Form:

This form requires 2 users inputs:

a. Shipping Company Name

b. Bill of Lading Number

The bill of lading number is the unique number provided by the shipping company on their transit document.

5. Service Modification Documentation Form:

The Service Modification Documentation Form will require 5 to 8 user inputs. These will vary based on the generation of the modification.

a. I have downloaded the most current version of the scan tool software available and performed all related test plans

NOTE! Ensure GFF Log is uploaded to GFF Paperless Server. If this step is not completed, your Validating Manager will NOT be able to Validate this repair!

b. I have correctly applied the Vehicle Emissions Control Information Label

c. I have correctly applied the TDI Modification Proof of Completion Label

d. I have test driven the vehicle and verified there are no issues with the modification

6. Service Modification Manager Validation Form:

This form will be used to ensure specific steps within the modification process have been completed correctly.

a. GFF Electrical and Software Updates Complete

b. I have verified that the Vehicle Emissions Control Information Label has been applied correctly

c. I have verified that the TDI Modification Proof of Completion Label has been applied correctly

d. Verify that the vehicle has been test driven post modification

e. Please take a photo of your business card next the vehicle VIN

f. I certify that all steps with respect to this modification are complete

7. Service Delivery Confirmation:

Once you select the Service Delivery Confirmation portion, please select the “Generate EPA MPG Label + Repair Receipt” to simulate the process.

NOTE: You cannot generate a repair receipt or an EPA label. However, you can download and print a SAMPLE receipt and label.

If you are using a dealership Microsoft based computer, selecting print will take you to the print setup screen. Click on “Print” to print the customer’s receipt.

If you are using a dealership MAC based computer, selecting File then Print will take you to the print setup screen. Click on “Print” to print the customer’s receipt.*

If you’re using a handheld tablet or smartphone, and you’re having difficulties printing from it, you can always email the document to a corporate computer, and then print using your standard printing procedure.
