Press the [SCOPE] button.

The [SCOPE] button lights up, and the “SCOPE” screen appears.

Strike a pad.

The screen will show your timing.Press the [SCOPE] button again to exit the “SCOPE” function. The button goes dark.

Use a stereo cable to connect the CY-8 to the TD-9 as sh wn inthe illustration.

Attach the Cymbal Mount (MDY-10U

: sold separately) to the stand.

Connect the cable included with the

pad to the TD-9’s CRASH2 jack.

Use the existing cables to connect the VH-11 tothe TD-9 as shown in the illustration.

Connect the HH (hi-hat trigger) cable

to the TRIGGER OUT jack.

Connect the HHC (hi-hat control) cable

to the CONTROL OUT jack.

For details on mounting the VH-11 on a hi-hat stand, referto the “VH-11 owner’s manual.”The hi-hat stand is sold separately.The original cymbal pad (CY-5) used for the hi-hat can beused as a splash or crash cymbal. Mount it using an Cym-bal Mount (MDY-10U : sold separately) or Cymbal PartsSet (CYM-10 : sold separately).
