PLANNING YOUR EVENT The most important part of planning an event is to first know what you want YOUR event to be like. Envision the event YOU want!

The next step is deciding on the following details which will help determine the event rate.

• TYPE OF EVENT - Team building, customer or employee appreciation, corporate tournament, birthday party or another type?

• PREFERRED DATE or DAY OF THE WEEK

• TIME OF DAY and/or HOW MANY HOURS

• APPROXIMATE # OF GUESTS - This may be difficult to determine at this stage, so an estimate will do!

• FOOD - See Special Event Options.

• BEVERAGES - See Special Event Options.

• EVENT EXTRAS - See Special Event Options.

SPECIAL EVENT OPTIONSENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIESIn addition to beach volleyball, Third Coast offers activities that will appeal to your guests’ competitive & playful side.• Life-size Jenga • Giant Connect4 • CornHole • Sand Castle building • Hula Hooping • Limbo Contest• Serving Contest • Nine Satellite TVs – 5 indoor & 4 on outdoor deck

FOOD • CATERING - Recommended for medium to large groups.• DELIVERY - For smaller groups or kid events, pizza delivery hits the spot!

(delivery not limited to pizza)• BYOF (food) - Depending on the event day, size & time, groups may provide

their own food. Perfect for ‘pot lucks’ or when snacks and appetizers will do.• ON-SITE OUTDOOR COOKING AREA available for use, complete with

two grills (commercial propane & charcoal), a sink and plenty of storage, counter and prep space. Small to medium size groups enjoy the atmosphere and additional activity cooking burgers and hot dogs on site inevitably brings to an event! (not limited to burgers or hot dogs)

BEVERAGES There are FOUR OPTIONS to choose from when deciding on your beverage arrangements. All beverages must be supplied by Third Coast.• OPEN BAR - The event host covers the cost of their guests’ beverages.• LIMITED OPEN BAR by AMOUNT - Event host covers the cost of a pre-set amount

of beverages. If the pre-set amount is reached, guests’ pay for their remaining beverages.

• LIMITED OPEN BAR by TYPE - Event host covers the cost of certain beverages (i.e. all non-alcoholic drinks) and guests pay for beverages not included (i.e. beer or wine).

• CASH BAR - Guests pay for their own beverages.

MUSICDepending on the day and time of an event, groups can set the tone by choosing their music or musical entertainment.• PANDORA offers the choice of multiple customized radio stations. (i.e.: 80s hits,

classic rock, hip hop and many more)• iPOD CONNECTION - Play your own party playlist! • DJ - Party Mix DJs performs monthly at Third Coast and is available for special

events. (event host can choose any DJ)• LIVE BAND - ROCK RADIO is an 80s, 90s & classic rock cover band that has played

at many special events at Third Coast. (event host can choose any band)

EXTRASAvailable to further customize your Special Event and not limited to only the following!• DECORATIONS - Groups are welcome to decorate which can include event sponsor

banners or fun party items with a luau, beach or tropical theme!• SECURITY - Available (and recommended) for larger events.• TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR - Leave all the tournament organization and details to us! • REFEREES - Qualified referees are available to ‘make the calls’ at your Company

Tournament, as well as help teams know where and when to play.• PARTY FAVORS & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS - A great way to showcase an event

sponsor’s support to your guests is with promotional items such as koozies, bottle openers, volleyballs, or beach towels!

AVAILABILITYCourt space and facility availability depend on an event’s size, type, time and day requested. The following are general guidelines:

• WEEKDAYS - We offer the BEST RATES on weekdays before 6:00pm!

• FRIDAY EVENING or NIGHT - Availability ranges from court rental to private use of the facility.

• SATURDAY - Availability ranges from court rental to private use of the facility.

• SUNDAY - Availability ranges from court rental to private use of the facility.

AMENITIESTen lighted white sand volleyball courts. The most in Houston and any surrounding area!

Air-conditioned tropical theme clubhouse with tiki hut bar, five satellite TVs, comfortable tables and chairs and clean bathrooms stocked with body spray, deodorant, mouth wash & hair products.

Colorfully lighted wooden thatched decks surrounding clubhouse, outdoor cooking and shower areas.

Outdoor covered cooking area with both gas & charcoal grills including a sink and plenty of counter & storage space.

Eight showers including six private outdoor HEATED showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. These showers can also be used as private areas to change clothes!

Thatched-roof gazebo elevated two feet above ground. Great for live music, eating, dancing or conducting meetings!

One thatched rain room cabana. This is an extra shaded area that houses our outdoor ‘misting room’ to relieve the Houston heat!

Two thatched cabanas with surrounding built in benches. More shade & extra seating!

Plenty of tables, chairs & chaise lounges on the decks & around the volleyball courts.

Nine large flat screen satellite TVs.

Wi-Fi Hot Zone. (entire two-acre facility)

Complimentary player’s computer with DSL.
