Section 2 Important Information

2.1 To reduce the contractor and exhibitors’ liability risk and ensure the construction site security,

every raw space booth exhibitor must purchase the exhibition liability insurance before

applying for booth drawing inspection, electricity power service and so on. After the exhibitor

purchased the insurance and then the exhibitor could apply for booth drawing inspection,

electricity power service and so on.

Exhibitors must have adequate insurance coverage against any and all eventuality

throughout the entire exhibition for their personnel, equipment, third party liability claims, and

movement of equipment in and out of exhibition halls.

2.2 To ensure the safety during the move-in and move-out period, all the raw space exhibitors

must log on to the Exhibitor Service Center and submit the Form Exhibitor Appointed

Contractor, the Form Safety Construction Manager Registration and the Form Electrical

Setting. The safety construction manager should be a full-time employee in the exhibitor

company (Not designated structures or other company personnel), responsible for safety

construction supervising at the show site during the move-in and move-out period.

All shell scheme exhibitors must log on to the Exhibitor Service Center and submit the

Form Name Fascia.

2.3 All ‘Raw Space’ contractors can only move-in after 9:00a.m. 06/07/2020 for buildup.

Importantly, exhibitors may employ qualified construction companies to carry out

construction and installation work. Construction must be in accordance with the government

regulations and be approved by the competent authorities. The staff should be working with

relevant certificates required by the government and in accordance with technical

requirements and standards.

2.4 To ensure the safety of the booth, any form of the cap contracture is prohibited.

2.5 Each row of the booths must not be longer than 32 meters, and all the passages must be at

least 3 meters wide and strictly complying with the standard booth layout provided by the

Centre. The maximum height of construction is 6 meters for one-storey booths and 8.5

meters for two-storey booths or above in halls. A repair passage of at least 1.0 meters wide

between any temporary structures and the wall surface shall be kept.

All one-storey above 4.5 meter height, two-storey, multiple-storey and outdoor (excluding

stands built inside outdoor tent) stands' drawings should be inspected by National Grade A

Registered Structural Engineer. The drawings shall be sent to HAH Consulting & Exhibition

Co., Ltd. Only the drawing is approved, the construction can begin. Please refer to Section 4

Row Space Construction Guide to see the approval process.

2.6 The exhibitor badges per exhibitor are limited. The number of maximum badges is related to

the booth size. Please log on to the Exhibitor Service Center to see more details and

submit the Form Badge All personnel in the exhibition halls must wear identification badges.

Section 2 Important Information

The exhibitor badges cannot be altered or be replaced by a business card. Please refer to Section

8 Rules and Regulations. Due to the epidemic prevention and control, all exhibitors are required

to apply for the Permit of Construction in advance for their entrance to the exhibition halls

during the period of move-in.

2.7 All booths, except island configurations, must provide a full back wall, maximum of 2.5

meters in height. All exposed walls must be finished on all sides at the expense of the

exhibitor who owns the walls. All exposed wall areas or exposed structures must be covered

by new white PVC cloth without any break, contamination, graphics or texts. If the back wall

did not meet the above requirements, penalty will be deducted from the construction deposit.

The Organizer reserves the right to enforce the exhibitor to change the booth design and

construction in the case of such violations.

2.8 Concerning fire safety and security, it is prohibited to use elastic fabrics for any build-up and

constructions; other materials would not be allowed to use without anti-fire coatings.

All materials used in the construction and decoration of an exhibit must be flame retardant.

All carpeting and floor coverings must have Class 1 flame spread rating and UL between 0

and 25. No storage of flammable materials is allowed in the utility areas.

2.9 During the exhibition, the organizer will provide general cleaning of the exhibition hall

(excluding exhibitor’s booth) prior to the opening hours. Shell scheme cleaning work by

designated contractor responsible. During the build-up and tear-down periods, independent

contractors appointed by exhibitors are responsible for the removal of their own stand

building/dismantling materials and rubbish.

In addition, exhibitors of row space should pay the construction deposit before the booth

construction begins:

Below 50sqm: RMB 5,000/Booth/Show,

50-100sqm: RMB 10,000/Booth/Show,

101 - 200sqm: RMB 20,000/Booth/Show,

201 - 350sqm: RMB 30,000/Booth/Show

Over 350sqm: Calculated by area

2.10 All the exhibitors and constructors have to work within the given time. Exhibitors or

contractors who need to work beyond the above hours must apply to the organizer at the

entrance of each hall before 15:00 on the date intended and will be responsible for overtime

charges in cash imposed by the exhibition hall. 50% penalty fee will be charged for any late

orders received.

Jul. 07, 2020, 08:00 – 9:00:RMB 1300/Hour/Booth.

2.11 Packing of exhibits and dismantling of stands will commence on Jul.07, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.

when the exhibition closes. The Hall will remain open until 22:00 p.m. on that day for the

removal of hand-carried goods. All utility services to booths will be cut off 15 minutes after

the Exhibition ends. We strongly recommend that at least one member of your staff should

be on your booth at that time to ensure the safety of your displays whilst dismantling is taking

place.

2.12 Volume control

To ensure a business conducive to atmosphere within the exhibition halls, the use of

acoustic speakers on any booth is forbidden. Volume control must be under 70 decibels in

the Exhibition hall at any time. If the volume exceeds 70 decibels, the organizers reserves

the right to demand that the exhibitor lower down the volume, and to take further action such

as cutting off electricity supply to the booth if the exhibitor refuses to comply. In case of

violation of this rule, the construction deposit fee will not be refunded to the exhibitor.

2.13 Explanation of business invitation

The invitation will not be regarded as an admission ticket. For visitors with invitations, please

login to https://www.tctasia.com.cn for Pre-Registration and Real-Name Authentication.If you

only have the invitation without pre-registration, 50 RMB admission ticket will be charged at the

door.

2.14 Outer food and beverages are prohibited to enter the exhibition venue.。

Additional Electrical Services and Rental Furniture

The power outlet in the shell scheme is only for generally domestic/ offices electrical appliance

other than lighting. Exhibitors, who require additional lighting, can log on to the Exhibitor Service

Center and submit the Form Electrical Setting. (Use electricity for machine or lighting must be

separately apply), and booth must purchase exhibition responsible insurance and pay for booth

deposit

Besides the standard configuration, you can also rent additional furniture or display facilities.

Please log on to the Exhibitor Service Center and submit the Form Furniture, Lighting & Socket

Rental.

Shell scheme exhibitors in the layout of their booth, must further perform the following provisions

of the General Assembly appointed by the contractor:

1. All booth structures are used for the high quality aluminum products, so exhibitors cannot drill,

use screw nail, nails or metallic sharp nails, or pins for the booth layout.

2. Wallpaper, Glue, destructive tape, adhesive paper or paint cannot be used directly on the

board to the booth decoration

3. Exhibitors are not allowed to increase the structure of the standard booth to add other

additional configuration.

4. The shell scheme configuration is unified, standard booth exhibitors, where marked with the

company name lintel board by the General Assembly specified contractors unified production

5. Details for any package upgrade booth including elevation view, side view and 3D view of the

booth with detailed materials indicated are required to be submitted to the Official Contractor

before Jun.05, 2020 for approval. Package booth upgrade can only be applied from exhibitors

whose booths sized larger or equivalent to 24sqm and height limits 2.5m.The Organizers reserve

the right to tear down any package upgrade booth on-site without prior approval from the Official

Contrator.

6. Any lightings, sockets and other electric fixture supplied by exhibitors are not allowed to be

connected to the shell scheme power point,extra power point is required. Meanwhile, the

exhibitor or their contractor need pay corresponding management fee and damage deposit to

Official Contractor.

7. The rest of the exhibition and the relevant rules and regulations, please be sure to carefully

read Section 8 Rules and Regulations.

8. If there is any violation of the above provisions, all disputes arising from the full responsibility of

the dispute

9. According to the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection

Law" and "Shanghai Environmental Protection Regulations" ,and relevant requirements of

government departments, KT board materials are forbidden at the exhibition; exhibition wastes

such as carpets and low-pressure plastic paper (bubble plastic paper) must be taken away and

properly handled by exhibitors and contractors after the exhibition.

At the same time, if the shell scheme needs to construct any structure in the booth, the deposit

must be delivered to the office contractor before the exhibition. If the booth is completely cleaned

up,and confirmed by the staff of the exhibition hall, the deposit will be refunded after the

exhibition.

Deposit: RMB 2000.00 / booth

Booth rental electricity requires bring the self-contained power control box with grounding wire by

yourself, and all rental pavilion facilities: must be strictly placed in the booth (if the warehouse is

placed in the booth warehouse, the warehouse must be kept open);It is forbidden to hang up to

the outer wall of the booth and place the exhibition passage.

10. Shell scheme appear: rented the exhibition hall facilities, pasted pictures in the booth,

self-contained structural furniture and other circumstances, and the deposit will be paid according

to the specific conditions.

11. If you need to rent furniture at the exhibition, please go to the on-site service office. In order

to avoid unnecessary economic losses and safety hazards in the booth, it is strictly forbidden to

rent furniture through unofficial channels and connect the wires without authorization, paste the

super high picture and change the structure of the booth structure. Once found, all are removed.

12. Exhibitor trucks need to reserve a vehicle waiting card before the exhibition.

13. Due to the epidemic prevention and control, all exhibitors are required to apply for

the Permit of Construction in advance for their entrance to the exhibition halls during the

period of move-in.

Decorated Space Facilities

Raw Space exhibitors will be given a floor space without booth facilities, carpet or power supply.

They must design and construct their own booths, lay the carpet.

Exhibitors may employ qualified construction companies to carry out construction and installation

work. Construction must be in accordance with the government regulations and be approved by

the competent authorities. The staff should be working with relevant certificates required by the

government and in accordance with technical requirements and standards.

The design, building and dismantling of the raw booth must comply with the government

fire control laws and regulations. Raw-space exhibitors should submit the booth design

and construction drawing to the official contractor one month before the show open, and

be filed to the government fire control department.

Any consequence which is caused by against the organizer’s regulation, the exhibitor will

take the full responsibility.

Contractor Required Documents and Move-in Procedure

Exhibitors who rent raw space can appoint their own contractors to set up the booth. Please

ensure you and your contractor read the following information and follows all regulations as

detailed below in order to ensure your plans can be approved in good time thus avoiding potential

problems and costly amendments.

Remark:

1. Documents A, B, C, D, E, F should be submitted to office contractor review. At the same time,

pay the order, the management fee and the booth deposit. After completing the audit and

payment, receive the deposit slip at the site and then make the construction badge.

The management fee: RMB 35.00/sqm/extension.

The general flaw path: Audit information and drawings and pay the construction deposit

and management fee to the official constructor > Receive the deposit slip at the site--->

Make the construction badge (documents needed: original Identity Card, building

management fee payment confirmation and construction deposit receipt). Construction

badge price: RMB 50/piece, badge center: +86 21 2890 6100). All construction workers

have to wear the badge. Due to the epidemic prevention and control, all exhibitors are

required to apply for the Permit of Construction in advance for their entrance to the

exhibition halls during the period of move-in.

3. You can apply for the set-up/dismantle badges from Jul.06,2020 and “Vehicle Pass” from

Jul.07,2020 with the receipt of construction deposit and sealed “The Safety Commitment of

Erection Contractor”. For detail information, you can refer to “The Flow Chart for Obtaining

Certificates” .

4. Trucks need to reserve vehicle waiting cards before the exhibition

Design Approval

According to latest provisions of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the exhibition of

the stand trial and building work to be as follows:

One-storey with 4.5 meter height, two-storey, multiple-storey and outdoor (excluding stands built

inside outdoor tent) stands' drawings must be approved by the venue Shanghai New International

Expo Centre (SNIEC) appointed unique booth surveyor HAH Consulting & Exhibition Co., Ltd.

Shanghai. Only the drawing is approved, the construction can begin.

1、 The design drawing (2 copies) as followed:

A. Booth perspective drawing (1front-side and 2 sides)

B. Ground floor plan (ground floor plan & 2nd floor plan)

C. Booth planning specifications and technical data of building materials

D. Front elevation drawing

E. Sectional drawing

F. Construction drawing

All drawings must indicate the axis of the beam and column sizes and the dimension of all

structural materials.

2、 All construction institutions entering the exhibition hall to start stand construction must provide

HAH with copies of their business license certificate imprinted with company seal, which will

be used for filing purpose.

3、 Construct of all above exhibition stands, structural drawings must be provided, which shall be

imprinted with seals of National Grade A Registered Structural Engineer for confirmation,

accompanied by structural calculation sheet.

4、 Structure of two-story exhibition stand must be equipped with fire extinguishers that have

passed annual inspection.

Drawing inspection means directly relegating to SNIEC for inspection; Re-inspection means after

approval by Grade A National Registered Structural Engineer, SNIEC will re-inspect the drawings.

7、 Deadline:

The drawings shall be arrived to HAH Consulting & Exhibition Co., Ltd (authorized Structural

Inspector by SNIEC) before Jun.05, 2020. If the drawings are issued after deadline, 30% of the

amount as overdue penalty will be charged; if the drawings issued during the move-in time, 50%

of the amount as overdue penalty will be charged.

8、 For design drawings for two-storey, multiple-storey and outdoor stands, if neither reviewed by

2. Refund method of Deposit:

If you pay with cash, after Jul.10,2020 the tear down is finished, the construction deposit

will be refunded if the security and cleaner confirm that all the exhibits and construction

materials have been removed out of the hall and no damage to the floor or facility.

Exhibitors can go to the onsite office at the entrance of each hall with the security and

cleaner signed receipt and get the deposit. Return original deposit slip.

For exhibitors who paid by card,the construction deposit fee will be refunded to their

original bank account within 1 months (30 workdays).

3. Deduction of Deposit

A. The compensation fee of any damages will be charged before Jul.10, 2020. After the

payment is done, the cleaning, security, and the garbage company can sign.

B. If the onsite booth structure has big difference from booth perspectives and it is against

the related rules and regulations, all deposit will be deducted as penalty.

C. If the booth hasn’t been corrective according to the Show Management’s

requirement. Show office will rectify the booth, all the related cost will be deducted

from the deposit. If the deposit can’t cover the cost, exhibitor has an obligation to pay.

D. If the dismantlement hasn’t been done after the show closes on Jul.10, 2020 the

venue cleaner will deduct the deposit for booth dismantlement.

E. According to the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection

Law" and "Shanghai Environmental Protection Regulations" ,and relevant requirements of

government departments, KT board materials are forbidden at the exhibition; exhibition wastes

such as carpets and low-pressure plastic paper (bubble plastic paper) must be taken away and

properly handled by exhibitors and contractors after the exhibition.

It is strictly forbidden to discard it within the scope of the exhibition hall. Once found, the all booth

deposit will be deducted.

1. Back Wall

All booths, except island configurations, must provide a full back wall, maximum of 2.5

meters in height. All exposed walls must be finished on all sides at the expense of the

exhibitor who owns the walls. All exposed wall areas or exposed structures must be

covered by new white PVC cloth without any break, contamination, graphics or texts. If the

back wall did not meet the above requirements, penalty will be deducted from the

construction deposit.

2. Distribution of Promotional Material/Displays

Displays must be confined within the exhibitor’s booth and must not be designed to

obstruct the clear view of nearby booths or interfere with the flow of traffic example: video

monitor(s) should be places where visitors viewing the monitor(s) do not block the aisle. If

height exceeds the requirements, the machine, equipment or products will not be set up

to display the display, so as not to cause unnecessary damage.

3. Ceiling Suspensions

The suspension point and advertising banner over the stand can be applied. Please fill and

send the form to Official Stand Contractor before Jun.05,2020. Please log on to the

E-forming System and submit the Form Hanging Points .

4. Decoration

Show Management has the authority to determine whether placement, arrangement and

appearance of all items displayed by the exhibitor are in compliance with the exposition

standards. This may require the replacement, rearrangement or redecoration of any item

or of any booth. Show Management is not liable for any cost that may be incurred by the

exhibitor.

All booth spaces (unless otherwise specified) must be fully carpeted or covered. Carpeting

enhances your corporate image and continues the overall professional look of the

exposition. You may supply your own carpet or rent it from the Official Stand Contractor.

All floor coverings must be fire retardant in compliance with local fire department

regulations.

5. Booth Identification

Placement: Company identification cannot be placed/ erected outside the booth area.

Signs: All signs, posters and booth graphics must be professionally lettered and in

compliance within the proper height limitations. Show Management reserves the right to

change or remove signs (at the exhibitor’s expense) that are not in keeping with the

overall quality standards of the exposition.

6. The rest of the guidelines and requirements, please refer to Section 8 Rules and

Regulations.

Rules and Regulations for Exhibitor Appointed Contractor:

1. All EACs are required to have a Set-up/Dismantle Badge while on the exposition floor.

2. The EAC agrees that it will indemnify, and hold harmless, the Show Management and the

Official Contractor from any action on account of injury or damage to persons or property

caused by an act of omission, negligence or misconduct on the part of the EAC or any of its

agents, servants, employees, or contractors.

3. The EAC shall not erect a service desk and must restrict corporate identity to the booth areas

being serviced. Personnel carriers will not be permitted on the exhibit floor without the approval

of Show Management.

4. The EAC will adhere to all rules and regulations and shall complete their assigned services

within the exhibitor official time limits of move-in and move-out as soon as published by VNU

Show Management. Exhibitors are responsible for the action of their EACs.

5. Exhibitors and their EACs are requested to wear safety helmet during Set up/Dismantle period.

6. Ladders for work 2m or over are not permitted, must use scaffold or working platform.

7. All the EACs must read Safety Commitment issue by SNIEC & Safety Construction Guideline

in detail.

* Please inform your EAC that they must comply with all criteria in the exhibitor services manual

before being issued badges which will allow them to work or supervise on the show floor during

Set up/Dismantle period.

Rules and Regulations for Booth Construction

1. To ensure the safety of the booth, any form of the cap contracture is prohibited.

2. Each row of the booths must not be longer than 32 meters, and all the passages must be at

least 3 meters wide, and strictly complying with the standard booth layout provided by the

Centre. A repair passage of at least 1.0 meters wide between any temporary structures and

the wall surface shall be kept.

3. The maximum height of construction is 6 meters for one-storey booths and 8.5 meters for

two-storey booths or above in halls.

4. No nails, adhesives, drawing pins, or similar materials or hole-drilling shall be applied to any

part of the premises.

No work should be carried out in the entry lobby without permission. Any structure or other item

is not allowed to lean on and fix with the facility or structure of the Centre.

5. No build-up work shall be carried out during the Show Days. Raw space’s constructor is

responsible for dismantling the structure of all booths and moving all abandoned materials to

certain place appointed by organizer.

Raw space`s constructor shall compensate for any damage to the facilities and equipment in

the Centre caused by construction, installation, dismantling and transportation.

7. No smoking is allowed in Leased Area and anywhere in the Centre with non-smoking signs.

8. No hanging object is allowed in the Centre without permission. Each permitted hanging point

may bear an object which weighs no more than 200KG. The professional staff of the Centre

shall conduct the hanging work. The hanging point cannot be used to fix the structure

connected with the floor. Exhibitors, who require hanging points, can log on to the E-forming

System and submit the Form Hanging Points.

9. Operators who are engaged in overhead work (height≥2M) must wear safety helmets and

safety belts, and carry out other necessary safety measures against injuries that might be

caused by falling objects.

10. Only qualified overhead operation tools may be used; unqualified ones are expressly

prohibited. When passing tools or objects, throwing is forbidden. Methods such as

hand-to-hand passing or conveyance of tools or objects by bags, or lifting up and/or down

with ropes, shall be adopted.

11. Unqualified operators are forbidden to do overhead work, and it is also strictly forbidden to do

overhead work after drinking alcohol.

12. The inlets, outlets and connections to be installed on the stand must be ordered from the

facility by completing the corresponding order form which can be found in Form Section of

this manual.

13. Official controllers, being fully empowered to authorize or prohibit the installation or to require

alterations so as to meet technical and legal requirements, will inspect all on-stand

installations.

14. Exhibitors are liable for any technical faults or damage that may result from non-compliance

with the provisions as stipulated by the facility.

15. A sketch showing the desired position of the installations must accompany all order forms.

16. Extended hours for set-up can be requested at on-site service counter near each hall

entrance before 15:00 every day with an additional fee.

Electric safety

A. All matters relating to the use of electricity, by the general assembly to specify the

specific operation of the contractor, the exhibition of light to rent booth exhibitors need

to take charge of electricity. The organizers of all installations with electric equipment

have strict regulations and restrictions, please be sure to submit the relevant

construction and installation data 1 month in advance, to the organizer’s approval.

The engineering operations approved by the organizer shall not be carried out.

B. Exhibitors are strictly forbidden to install their own connections to the floor boxes.

C. Use of another Exhibitor’s electrical hook-up is strictly forbidden due to potential fire

and hazard risks. In the event that the exhibit hall is damaged or destroyed due to

negligence or failure on the part of the exhibitor to comply with the local fire agency’s

fire and hazard regulations, the Exhibitor is responsible and liable for all damages

incurred.

D. All matters relating to the use of electricity, by the general assembly to specify the

specific operation of the contractor, the exhibition of light to rent booth exhibitors need

to take charge of electricity. The organizers of all installations with electric equipment

have strict regulations and restrictions, please be sure to show the approach to build

the previous month to submit the relevant construction and installation data in the

organizer approval. The engineering operations approved by the organizer shall not be

carried out.

E. All connecting boxes in operation on the floor must be accessible at all times.

Booth rental electricity requires bring the self-contained power control box with grounding wire by

yourself, and all rental pavilion facilities: must be strictly placed in the booth (if the warehouse is

placed in the booth warehouse, the warehouse must be kept open);It is forbidden to hang up to

the outer wall of the booth and place the exhibition passage.

17. Fire Protection Measures/Fireproofing

All materials used in the construction and decoration of an exhibit must be flame retardant. All

carpeting and floor coverings must have Class 1 flame spread rating and UL between 0 and 25.

No storage of flammable materials is allowed in the utility areas.

Written approval must be obtained from the Shanghai Fire Safety Bureau for the following:

1) Display and operation of any heater, barbecue, heat producing or open flame devices, candles,

lanterns, torches, welding equipment or other smoke emitting materials as part of the exhibit.

2) Display and operation of any electrical, mechanical, or chemical devices which may be

deemed hazardous. If there is any question, if devices may be deemed hazardous, submit

them to the appropriate controlling authorities for approval.

3) All toxic and hazardous material, including flammable liquids, compressed gas or dangerous

chemicals. Special care must be taken not to obstruct or hide from the view to the fire

protection system, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation vents, fire safety equipment, fire

hose reel/riser cabinets, fire alarm pull stations, house lighting fixtures and supervising

systems.

4) Any combustible material is prohibited during the building, especially elastic fabrics.

Section 5 Insurance

The organizer reminds all exhibitors that they should be responsible for assets and personal

injury of people in their exhibition booths, and they also shoulder the same legal responsibility for

their staff, representatives, exhibition tooth building business and sub-contractor. In order to

transfer the responsibility risk of building special exhibition booths and ensure insurance of on-

site constructors, before they deal with reporting, draw checking, deposit payment and other

entrance procedures, each special exhibition booth must purchase exhibition responsible

insurance which meets requirements of this regulation in advance.

A. Insurance requirements of special exhibition booths are listed below:

1. The insured should include exhibitors and building businesses at the same time, and

“VNU Rapid News Co.,LTD” should be listed as additional insured unit.

2. The insurance scale should include:

1) Loss of the architecture, various fixed equipment and floor and groundwork inside

exhibition place; the accumulated reimbursement limit is RMB 500,000 Yuan.

2) Pensions, medical expenses and other related charges resulted from personal injury of

hiring staff; the accumulated reimbursement limit is RMB 1.5 million, and the accumulated

reimbursement limit for each person is RMB 500,000 .

3) Pensions, medical expenses and other related charges resulted from personal injury of

the third person; the accumulated reimbursement limit is RMB 2 million, and the

accumulated reimbursement limit for each person is RMB 500,000.

The premium is 90.00 USD.

B. The applicants of special exhibition booths can select designated insurance facilitator

of this exhibition --- “exhibition insurance web- http://www.exhibitionguard.com/” to

insure online; they can also choose other insurance facilitators to insurance, but the

insurance policy must meet insurance requirement of special exhibition booths, and

pass the check of “exhibition insurance web- http://www.exhibitionguard.com/”.

TEMPORARY IMPORTATION 临时进口 The Chinese Authorities permit exhibits to be imported into China on temporary importation basis on approved trade shows. Temporary import is allowed for 1 month from the date of entry and must be re-exported after show closing. Extension of temporary import is allowed subject to Customs’ approval. ATA Carnet is accepted for temporary import in China, but ONLY for purpose as ‘Exhibition & Fairs’. Customs Bond Fee will be levied for temporary import shipment without ATA Carnet.

All exhibition goods by temporary import are under Customs control. Exhibitors should not allow their exhibits to be sold, abandoned or taken away from the fairground without prior agreement with the China Customs through APT Showfreight, otherwise exhibitors will get severe punishment by the China Customs.

PERMANENT IMPORTATION 永久进口 For permanent importation of any exhibits after show closing, the buyer in China (with valid import document) shall be acted as the actual consignee. CONTROLLED ITEMS IN CHINA 中国受管制的物品

In case the shipment contains any controlled items by the Chinese Government, we strongly recommend that the list of exhibits should be e-mailed or faxed to APT Showfreight for checking prior to the shipment departure from the country of origin. If required, APT Showfreight will apply necessary license/ permit on behalf of the exhibitors, but under no circumstances that APT Showfreight can guarantee such license will be granted.

The importation of below commodities is under Customs strict control even for exhibition purpose and subject to special permit in China: - Foodstuff, Beverage - All tableware / kitchenware such as (paper, glass) cup, mug, tissue/wipe & bowl etc., - Watches, toys - Cosmetics / Skin care items - Any items / materials with Endangered Species - Animal, plant - Art articles, Antiques, Jewelry and etc., - Solid wood or plywood full set of furniture. All stand building material such as wooden or plywood or MDF floor / panel and etc., or furniture component /accessory - All electric products such as mobile charger, portable battery charger/bank, lamp, wire, cable, plug and etc. - Glass or plastic products such as glass panel for stand building material - Chemical products such as: cleaner, glue, paint and etc., - Medical products such as Medicine, First-aid kit and etc.

Without Chinese Customs’ approval, these items can’t be imported, distributed/ tasted/ sold

and/or consumed during the exhibition. If exhibitors need to ship any controlled items to China, exhibitors are required to submit to APT Showfreight the following documents / information for application of import permit to China at least 60 (Sixty) days prior to the shipment departure from the country of origin:

a. Catalogue / Brochure of commodities b. Export Permit Issued by the Products’ Originating Country/ Place c. Certificate of origin and/or Health Certificate (if required) d. Commercial Invoice and Packing List / List of Exhibits

Relevant guidelines and permit application fee in China for controlled items will be quoted upon request.

为了避免因展品中含有受中国政府管制的物品而导致被扣留,我们强烈建议展商在从所在国发运展品前将

展品清单/商业发票和装箱单以电邮或传真至我司以备提前检查确认。

PRINTED / PUBLICITY MATERIALS RESTRICTIONS 印刷品 / 宣传资料之限制

All exhibitors are advised that all promotional materials to be imported or giveaways during the exhibition must not indicate or deem to indicate that Taiwan or Tibet is a Country such as ‘ROC’.

All book / magazine with ISBN / ISSN code can’t be imported under the show but through a book trader

agent instead, which will cost additional 12% on CIF value, min. USD 480.00/shipment.

Films/ slides/ video tapes/ CDs, VCDs, DVDs/ USB disk with data or content, map and globe are not allowed to display, distribute & consume during the show due to import license restriction, so please DO NOT send any above items with shipment. APT will not take any responsibility of the shipment detained/delayed due to lack of import license.

In addition, exhibitors are advised that brochures, giveaways and souvenirs are subject to import

duties as assessed by the Chinese Customs which must be payable on entry.

任何宣传资料中若有提到“台湾”或“西藏”之处,展商应避免使用任何使人误会台湾或西藏为国家的文字。

所有含 ISBN 或 ISSN 编码的图书/杂志,无法以展会的名义进口,必须通过外文图书进出口公司做进口,这将

EARLY / LATE ARRIVALS 早到 / 晚到附加费

An early arrival surcharge will be applicable if the shipment arrives before the stipulated deadlines and will bill exhibitor as per outlay plus 10% reimbursement fee. A late arrival surcharge, 30% based on basic handling rate, will be applicable if the shipment arrives after the stipulated deadline. In the event of late arrivals, APT Showfreight will make all reasonable efforts to ensure delivery before the show opens; however, no guarantee can be given. The surcharge will apply regardless of delivery date to the show site. APT Showfreight also reserves the right to reject handling any cargo that arrives at the Shanghai

seaport / airport only 7 days prior to the show open date. All additional charges incurred due to the late arrivals shall be borne by the exhibitors.

HAND-CARRY EXHIBITS 手提物品

Exhibitors are strongly advised not to hand-carry goods for this exhibition as it could be detained by the Chinese Customs at the airport. Once detained, please note the detained shipment can’t be imported as exhibition goods because the list of exhibits of detained goods were not submitted in advance to the customs system at least one month before show.

我们强烈建议展商不要手提展品进入中国,因有可能导致货物被机场海关扣留。如发生扣货,请注意无法通过

展览品方式再进行进口清关,因为被扣物品的展品清单未提前至少一个月提交给海关系统做备案。

COURIER SERVICE 快递服务 We do not recommend to send it via courier service (DHL, FedEx, UPS) as the cargo might be detained by customs, unless the shipment is very small (under 20kgs total weight) and low value (under USD50 total value). Otherwise airfreight is a better choice. Once courier detained, please note the detained courier shipment can’t be imported as exhibition goods because the list of exhibits of detained goods were not submitted in advance to the customs system at least one month before show. Please contact with us before sent out shipment by courier. If exhibitor insist to send by courier service, the exhibitor should know and take full responsibility for the risk that the cargo might be detained and can’t be delivered in time which is beyond control. Please let us have air waybill copy once available. Please also note that even shipment is not detained by customs, handling charges from free arrival our office upto your booth will still be occurred @ USD153.00 /shipment + duty/tax (as per outlay+10% handling fee). But if shipment is detained by customs, handling charges will be the same as normal airfreight shipment as per tariff. There is courier fee of sending original shipping documents (like OBL, ATA) at USD60.00 per consignment.

HEAVY AND OVER-SIZE EXHIBITS 超重和超大展品

If exhibitors have heavy and oversize exhibits, exhibitors must be on-site early to direct the operation of uncrating and positioning. If crane of forklift is required for installation of equipment, please send your requirement to us as early as possible so that we could arrange contracting such equipment in advance. A quote will be given after receiving your enquiry.

如果展商有超重和超限展品,务必尽早到现场来进行就位操作。如果需要叉车或吊机来帮助安置设备的

话,务必尽早把要求通知给我们,以便于我们可以提前安排。在接到展商的查讯后我方会提出报价。

VALUABLE / REEFER OR DANGEROUS CARGO 贵重/冷冻冷藏或危险品操作 For valuable (goods value on or exceeding USD1,000.00 per kg gross weight or unit price on or exceeding USD100,000.00 per piece), reefer and dangerous cargo, 100% additional charges will be levied. Exhibitors have to send us a specific form with company letterhead and the completed forms should reach us before shipment dispatched.

如展品中有贵重品(每公斤毛重价值达到或超过一千美元或单件货价格达到或超过十万美元)或冷冻冷藏

品或危险品,将加收 100%附加费。展商须在货物发运前提供用公司信头纸打印的完整声明给安普特。

PACKING OF EXHIBITS 展品包装 Exhibitors shall be responsible for the consequences of improper packing. A. Protection against Damage and Rain As the exhibits are repeatedly loaded and unloaded during transportation, shocking/bumping will sometimes be inevitable. Moreover, exhibits will be placed outdoors many times, including open-air storage at the exhibition centre before and after the exhibition. Therefore, exhibitors must take necessary precautions against damage and rain, since we cannot assume any responsibility for the damage, especially when the return exhibits are to be packed with used-packing materials (the case as well as aluminium foil, plastic covers, etc., very often would have been damaged already during unpacking). B. The Case The case must be strong enough to avoid damage during transportation as well as unpacking, and in particular, be suitable for repacking and for sale for return movement after the exhibition. Packing in cartons is not considered suitable for repeated handling, especially for valuable or delicate equipment. C. Vacuum Packing Service APT can provide Vacuum Packing Service. Please order it to APT at least 2 days before required service.

参展商要对包装不妥善造成的后果承担责任。

A) 避免损坏和雨侵

由于展品在运输中反复被装卸,震动和撞击是不可避免的。此外,展品被多次置于室外,包括展览前后在展览

中心露天的放置,所以展商必须提前注意抵制损坏和雨侵。我们不承担任何损毁责任,尤其是当回程展品可能

被已经使用过的包装材料重新包装的时候(有铝箔、塑料等包装情况下,很多时候在取出过程中已被损坏)。

C) 展品真空包装

APT 还可提供展品真空包装服务。请提前至少 2 天下单预约。

FUMIGATION RULES IN CHINA 中国对木质包装要求须知 ALL CARGOS WITH SOLID WOOD PACKING MATERIAL (abbr. as WPM, such as wood block cases, lath cases, pallets, frames, drums, axes, chocks, stow-wood, crossties etc.) to China, fumigation must be arranged in the country of origin before sending the cargo to China. To ensure the WPM is properly treated either by Heat Treatment (HT) or Methyl Bromide (MB), following information MUST be marked or stamped on the outside packing as the below sample: All wooden pallets / crates need INTACT IPPC STAMP ON EACH FOOT / SIDE. WPM without acceptable IPPC stamp or IPPC stamp unclear/ half-printed/ hidden or against the above requirements, the Customs will force to destroy the case with extra penalty before delivery.

所有含木质包装的入境货物(木质包装是指用于承载、包装、铺垫、支撑、加固货物的木质材料,如木板箱、

木条箱、木托盘、木框、木桶、木轴、木楔、垫衬木、枕木等),应当由输出国家或地区政府植物检疫机构认

可的企业按中国确认的检疫除害方法处理。

为保证所有入境货物的木质包装在输出国经过热处理(HT)或溴甲烷(MB)熏蒸,所有木质包装上必须加施

政府植物检疫机构批准的 IPPC 专用标识,如图所示。

所有入境货物的木质外包装必须清晰完整加施在木箱或者木托盘的每一个底脚或每一面上。若无有效的熏蒸标

识,或标识不清/不全/被遮挡,包装箱将被中国海关就地销毁并对参展商处以罚金。

MOVE-IN DAYS 进馆 Exhibits will be transferred to the exhibition venue during the move-in days. Representatives of APT Showfreight will be available to help the exhibitors with the move-in logistics including assistance exhibitors of unpacking wooden cases and storage of empties as applicable. However, a responsible representative of the exhibitor must be available on-site during the move-in period for supervision. In some circumstances, however, the customs at the ports or fair site may inspect the case without your presence.

一般展品会于进馆期间送展场,我们会协助展商拆木箱并将展品就位和暂存空箱于展览场地(如场地许可)。

在布展期间,请参展商务必在现场指导操作。有些情况下,港口或者展场的海关会在展商不在时查验货品。

MOVE-OUT DAYS 出馆

Prior to the move-out days, exhibitors will be given a 'Return Shipping Instructions' to fill in based on the List

of Exhibits given at time of entry of goods into China. Exhibitors are required to advise APT Showfreight if the

goods will be re-exported, or disposed, as applicable.

During move-out, APT Showfreight representatives will be on-site to help exhibitors with return of empty cases, assistance of repacking wooden cases, re-export etc. as applicable. In order to ensure the closing of the exhibition can be operated smoothly, those exhibitors having heavy and over-size exhibits may be required to repack exhibits on the next day. Our on-site operation staff will inform exhibitors the exact arrangements. Similarly, during exhibition closing, exhibitors must also supervise the dismantling and repacking of exhibits,

especially for delicate or heavy equipment. When used-packing materials repack exhibits, the packing is regarded as no longer suitable to protect the equipment against damage/moisture compared with the original. Exhibitors shall therefor bear the responsibility for the consequences arising therefrom.

In the event of non-compliance of return instructions, all goods left at the exhibition venue shall be subject to

disposal by the Chinese Customs and all charges relating to the disposal including duties and taxes if any,

shall be borne by the exhibitor.

Exhibitors must pay special attention to the following Customs' regulations:

- Items other than those declared exhibits (e.g. personal effects, souvenir bought in China) are absolutely

not allowed to be returned together with exhibits.

- Violations of these regulations will result in confiscation and heavy fines imposed by the Customs.

- Battery, powder, toner or ink cartridge, liquid and gel are controlled dangerous cargo by

airline. Please note the exhibitors should take full responsibility to remove above controlled

items before re-packing.

- As the airlines implement strict security rules and will ask for magnetism detection & protection for many

sensitive items by air transportation including electric equipment, computer, speaker and etc., we will bill

magnetism inspection fee if the detection and protection is incurred.

在展览闭幕前,我司会派发一份 “回运指示” 给各展商,展商需根据原有的展品清单向我司阐明展品的处理方

式,如回运、消耗或散发等,以便我们在展览结束后安排展品的回运。

在展览会闭幕的当天,我们会将空包装箱送还各展台并协助展商装回木箱。为了确保展会闭幕的顺利进行,持

有超重或者超限展品的展商可能要在隔天完成展品的重装。我们的现场操作人员会通知展商确切的安排。展览

会闭幕期间,参展商需现场督导我们进行展品的拆卸和重装,尤其是对大型或者精密设备。当用已使用过的材

料重新包装展品时,很难确保设备不受损坏和潮气影响。参展商由此须自行承担责任。

如未收到展商回运指示,我们会将遗留于展场的展品交由海关处理,所有费用如销毁费及关税等由展商承担。

参展商需特别注意以下海关规则:

- 除了已申报的内容,其他货品如个人物品或在中国境内购买的纪念品,不能够随展品一同回运。

- 违反以上规则的货品将会被充公或从处重罚。

- 电池、粉末、墨盒、液体和凝胶都属于航空公司严格管制物品。请注意展商需承担全部责任并务必在

撤展重新包装时将以上管制物品取出不要打包随货运输。

- 由于航空公司现在施行了更加严格的安检规定并针对航空运输中的很多安全敏感物品如电器、电脑、扬声

器等要求磁性检验及消磁处理,如发生以上检验及处理我司将按实报实销向展商收取。

RE-EXPORT回运 The re-export formality takes at least 2 weeks prior to shipment departure from China. If any exhibits need to be return urgently, please write to APT Showfreight of your request before show open. Please pay attention that the new customs system requires one temporary import shipment should return all items together as one shipment and no separate / partial return as different shipments or to different destinations can be handled after show close.

货物回运前的复出口海关手续至少需要 2 个星期的时间。如有任何急需回运的展品,请务必事先通知我司,并

于展览会开幕前将所有指示和文件交给我司。

请注意新的展览品通关系统要求按照一票运单下临时进口的展品必须全部作为一票回运,无法操作一票进口运

单下的展品分开作为不同运单回运或者部分展品回运至不同目的地。

HIRE OF LABOUR OR EQUIPMENT ETC 雇佣工人及设备 If additional labour or equipment required, please contact us for quotation at least 48 hours before move-in.

INSURANCE 保险 It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to arrange Marine (Transport) Insurance covering transport to the exhibition, during the exhibition, till the return of the exhibits to domicile/ exhibits sold locally, including the period the exhibits are handled by APT Showfreight. Our tariff is computed on the basis of volume, weight and has no correlation with the value of exhibits which means the cost of insurance cover is not included in our charges. If exhibition goods were damaged by APT’s responsibility but no insurance covering the exhibition goods, APT Showfreight can pay for claim at maximum three times of handling fee for the exhibits.

展商需自行投保,保险范围需要涵盖展品从始发地发运到目的地,展会期间保险,直至展品送回到发运地或者

展品在当地售卖后的收货点,包括展品在安普特物流公司操作期间的保险。由于我司的报价是根据货物的体积

或重量计费的,与货物价值无关,因此不包括保险费用。如展品在运输过程中由于我司责任造成损伤,如无保

险,我司只能按照行业规定在该受损物品的运输费 3 倍比例以内予以赔付。

Section 7-Exhibitor Responsibilities& Liabilities

Amendments / General Supervision

Any exhibition items which are or not covered in this manual are reserved by TCT Asia

Management. The Management has the right to amend the exhibition rules when it’s necessary.

Then amended rules have the same right to all the related parties. TCT Asia Management will

inform the exhibitors which will be affected in written form.

TCT Asia management reserves the right to reject, or prohibit any exhibit, whole or in part, or any

exhibitor and his representatives, based solely on its judgment, discretion, and authority. Please

refer to your TCT Asia exhibit space application / contract for additional rules and regulations.

Violations and Penalties

Please read the TCT Asia 2020 Exhibitor Manual carefully, and follow all the rules. When the

exhibitor arrives at the venue, you can contact with VNU.

If the exhibitors, their employees, or agents, violate the rule many times, the show management

has the right to forfeit the exhibitor’s participation, occupy the booth and deduct the booth charge.

If the exhibitors want to apply for the standard booth onsite, please contact with the show

management office.

Default in Occupancy

Any exhibitor failing to occupy contracted space is not relieved of the payment of the full rental of

such space. All display systems and equipment/products must be installed and complete prior

to21:00 7/7/2020. Unoccupied space may be repossessed by Exhibition Management for such

purpose as it may see fit. Failure to notify TCT Asia Management of cancellation in advance will

cause exhibitor to lose priority for exhibit space.

Exhibitor Liability

The Exhibitor assumes full financial liability for damage to the facility or neighboring exhibits

caused by the construction of the exhibitor’s booth structure. The Exhibitor may not apply paint,

lacquer, adhesives or other coating to building columns, walls or floors.

In the event any part of the exhibit hall is destroyed or damaged so as to prevent TCT Asia from

permitting an Exhibitor to occupy assigned space during any part or the whole exhibition period;

or in the event where occupation of assigned space during any part or the whole exhibition

period is prevented by strike, acts of nature, national emergency, or other cause beyond the

control of TCT Asia Management Office; the Exhibitor hereby waives any claim against TCT Asia

Management Office beyond a refund of rent paid for the period it was prevented from using the

space, less a proportionate share of the exposition expenses incurred by TCT Asia.

Section 7-Exhibitor Responsibilities& Liabilities

In addition to the Rules and Regulations listed on the back of the exhibit space

application/contract, the TCT Asia rules and regulations have been established in consideration

of all participants (Exhibitors, attendees, service contractors, building management, and Show

Management) and apply to all participants throughout the show.

Limitation of Liability / Insurance

TCT Asia would like to remind the Exhibitor of the limits of liability as agreed to on the back of the

original signed application/contract for exhibit space.

Badges

Exhibitor Badge

1. All representatives of the exhibiting company (including Exhibitor Appointed Contractors) must

wear the official TCT Asia badges at all times. Any person(s) on the exhibit floor not wearing a

badge may be promptly evicted from the exhibit floor. Badges can be requested and picked

up at the registration counters during the move-in, show and move-out hours indicated in

Section 1 General Information.

2. For security reasons, each exhibiting company is allotted a limited number of badges. Due to

the epidemic prevention and control, all exhibitors are required to apply for the Permit

of Construction in advance for their entrance to the exhibition halls during the period

of move-in.

3. Company employees who WILL NOT be working in the booth should register as a “Visitor”

online.

4. Guests invited by the exhibitor are required to have a visitor badge. Exhibitors should not

request exhibitor badges for the guests. Exhibitors and guests shall finish the online

Pre-Registration and Real-Name Authentication within the required date. For Detailed

5. Exhibitor badges are not to be issued to representatives of leasing companies, financial

institutions, publishers, suppliers, vendors or others who wish to gain admittance for the

purpose of making contact other than in your exhibit.

6. Those receiving certification for a badge are to be in the space rented while on the exhibit

floor and are not admitted for the purpose of viewing other exhibits, except by invitation of

other Exhibitors to visit their booths. The exhibiting company, its employees, agent and

anyone claiming a right to be on the exhibit floor through the Exhibitor, waives any right or

claims for damages arising out of the enforcement of this rule.

7. Badges are not to be defaced or altered by inserting company cards.

8. False identification as an Exhibitor’s representative, misuse of Exhibitor’s badges, or any

other method or device used to assist unauthorized personnel to gain admittance to the

exhibit floor is prohibited. It will result in removing the Exhibitor and his representatives from

the exhibit floor and/or banning them from future entrance on the exhibit floor without

obligation on the part of organizer for refunds of any fees.

9. Any person on the exhibit floor who is not officially registered or who assists non-registered

persons to gain access to the exhibit floor is in violation of the items specified in this manual

and may be promptly evicted from the exposition.

Set-up/ Dismantle Badge

1. Set-up/Dismantle badges are only for exhibiting company personnel and contractors. Usually

this would be equipment technicians, exhibit set-up and dismantle personnel or Exhibitor

Appointed Contractors whose presence is required during the set-up or dismantling of exhibit

equipment.

2. Set-up/dismantle badges are valid only during set-up and dismantling hours of the show and

invalid during show days.

Demonstrations and Presentations

In the event of justifiable complaints from other exhibitors, the organizer reserves the right to

determine the acceptable sound level and extent of demonstrations. Any promotional activity

involving the demonstration of games, organized competitions or quizzers requires a permit from

the organizer. Any films, videocassettes or slides to be shown to the public during the exhibition

must be prior-approved by the authorities concerned. Exhibitors may appoint the official freight

forwarder to arrange approval on their behalf.

Use on Booth

1. Booth must always be taken care of during the show. Exhibitors’ staff members must be

present in their booths at least 30 minutes before the show opening hours and leave within 30

minutes after the closing time. All exhibitors should be responsible for their staff, agent and

representatives.

2. Exhibits and goods are not allowed to be sold at any place by exhibitors and staff members in

the pavilion.

3. Organizers have the right to prohibit exhibitor activities which considered that is harmful to the

others, for example, the audio and video equipment is not appropriate, and the volume is too

high.

4. All the special materials shall be permitted by organizer before bringing into the exhibition hall.

The organizers will take following aspects into consideration, such as weight, ground bearing

and dimensions.

5. The floor load-bearing capacity of indoor exhibition space is 3 tons/㎡. If there is any vertically

vibrating part in the exhibit operation, the above-mentioned floor load-bearing capacity shall

be reduced at least by 50%. Exhibitors should pay full compensation for the damage to the

buildings or the pavilion at the weight of the goods. The exhibitors will have to contact the

organizer in advance when the weight of the exhibition is being held.

6. All machines for demonstration must be equipped with safety devices and running signs,

which may be removed only when the machines are disconnected from power without any

latent danger. Working machines must be placed at a relatively safe distance from visitors,

and safety operation device is needed. Any machine or apparatus can only be demonstrated

in the booth, and operated and supervised by qualified persons. No motors, engines or power

driven machines are to be used without adequate fire-protection measures taken by Party B.

If there is a need to demonstrate machine equipment, please provide a detailed written

instruction about the operation of the organizer. Exhibitors must be fully prepared to ensure

the safety of other exhibitors, audience, exhibition hall and the organizer.

7. To build the layout of the exhibition booth must be completed before the opening of the

exhibition; in the exhibition period, to carry, repair or exchange of goods, or additional

materials must be approved by the organizers.

8. Any overseas exhibits cannot be moved out of the exhibition hall before the closing of the

exhibition.

Obstruction of Aisles/Booth Demonstrations

Exhibitors may not conduct demonstrations or activities that result in excessive obstruction of

aisles or prevent ready access to neighboring exhibitors’ booths. Demonstrations are to be

straightforward, professional, and relative to the displayed product. The use of demonstrators,

gimmicks, mimes, magicians, robots, etc., in the aisles is prohibited at all times. Products or

demonstrations must be placed inside the booth boundaries and must not result in aisles being

blocked. Equipment / furniture may not be in the aisle at any time.

Distribution of Promotional Material/Displays

Exhibitors must remain within their own exhibit space when distributing literature, product

samples, or other materials. Company information dissemination or promotion in any way is

strictly forbidden at show entrances, registration areas, seminar rooms, or public areas within the

convention facility or official hotels, which includes hotel room drops. Any flyers, brochures, signs,

etc. found in any location other than the exhibiting company's display space will be removed by

show management. The only exceptions will be for official event sponsors, at the discretion of

show management.

Displays must be confined within the exhibitor’s booth and must not be designed to obstruct the

clear view of nearby booths or interfere with the flow of traffic example: video monitor(s) should

be places where visitors viewing the monitor(s) do not block the aisle.

Giveaways/Handouts

Items, samples, souvenirs, etc., may only be distributed by the exhibitor from within the confines

of the exhibitor’s booth. Show Management reserves the right to evaluate the safety and/or

offensiveness of novelty item handouts. Failure to comply may result in the loss of priority points

or approval to exhibit the following year.

Booth Receptions/Parties

Receptions / parties within your booth must be requested in writing and approved by TCT Asia

Management prior to the exposition.

Lighting

Please avoid excessive lighting design; strictly prohibit the use of devices that may cause

interference, such as rotating lights or flashes. All lighting effects (including neon lights) must be

restricted in your own booth. Potentially damaging light, such as laser or UV, must be subjected

to the terms of use and approved by the organizer.

Security

1. General security in the exhibition hall will be provided by the organizer. Exhibitors and their

staff will not be allowed in the exhibition hall after official hours.

2. All personnel in the exhibition halls must wear identification badges. Exhibitors’ passes and

temporary passes are available from the organizer’s office on-site.

3. If your displays are valuable or sensitive and you wish to hire security personnel to attend to

your stand exclusively for the exhibition, please contact the organizer for security services.

Please note that you may not use your own staff, or personnel from any other security agency.

4. Exhibitors’ staff members must be present in their booths at least 30 minutes before the show

opening hours and leave within 30 minutes after the closing time.

Section 7-Exhibitor Responsibilities& Liabilities

6. Kindly reminding: All the small, portable and valuable things are easy to miss after the show

daily close. Since the exhibition booth is open, the exhibitors should take responsible for your

own property. Any exhibitors’, constructors’ or visitors’ staff is stolen, lost or damaged, the

organizer will not take any responsible.

7. General security in the exhibition hall will be provided. Exhibitors and their staff will not be

allowed in the exhibition hall after official hours.

8. Report thefts or damages immediately to both Security and Show Management if found.

Admission

This exhibition is open to professionals, trade and business visitors only. Minors and members of

the general public will not be admitted. The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or to

remove any person for any reason. Due to epidemic prevention and control, during the

period of move-in, exhibitors are required to apply for the Permit of Construction in

advance for the purpose of entering exhibition halls. Visitor Pass is required for the

entrance to exhibition halls during the period of exhibition. Visitors under 18 years old are

not allowed to enter the exhibition halls.Animals will not be allowed in the exhibit hall or on

exposition grounds except for guide dogs for the disabled.

Action inconvenience Visitors

All action inconvenience people must be given the same opportunities as able-bodied persons.

This includes the ability to attend exhibitions and look at any of the exhibits. We would ask that

you ensure that your booth and exhibits are easily accessible to those disabled visitors with

wheelchairs. Any booth with a platform should provide an appropriate access ramp.

Registration Procedures

TCT Asia 2020 registration is free open to all qualified visitors. All visitors of TCT Asia 2020 are

required to login to www.tctasia.com.cn for Pre-Registration and Real- Name

Authentication.

Safety Inspection System

According to safety regulation by SNIEC, the safety inspection system will be installed at the each

Entrance Hall.

All exhibitors & visitors are required to walk through before you are entering to the lobby and

exhibition halls during the whole show period. During show days all visitors are allowed to enter

the registration lobby from 9:00a.m., it will be a peak time to be in the queue for the safety

inspection. To secure your arrival your booth before show open at 9:00a.m., we strongly suggest

all exhibitors to enter into the Hall around 8:30a.m. during show days.

Promotion during the Show

Exhibitors are asked not to place stickers, signs or posters anywhere in the halls other than within

their own stands and on paid advertising poster sites and billboards. Likewise, exhibitors'

representatives may not distribute brochures, invitations, etc. along the gangways nor near the

entrances/exits. This is unfair to other exhibitors and an inconvenience to visitors. Balloons /

blimps of any kind will not be allowed on-site.

Cameras/Photography/Videotaping/Recording

Photography, videotaping of exhibits and displayed equipment (other than your own) are strictly

prohibited. Audio / tape recordings within the exhibit hall or meeting rooms are prohibited. Show

Management is exempt from this rule. Press (properly accredited) may photograph or videotape

with exhibitor’s permission during exhibit hours only. Videotaping of your product outside of

exhibit hours must be approved in writing by TCT Asia. Written requests for videotaping must be

submitted to Show Management prior to the exposition. The exhibitor must hire a security guard

to be present during videotaping before or after exhibit hours.

Sound and Noise

To ensure a business conductive atmosphere within the exhibition halls, the use of acoustic

speakers on any booth is forbidden. Volume control must be under 70 decibels in the Exhibition

hall at any time. If the volume exceeds 70 decibels, the organizers reserves the right to demand

that the exhibitor lower down the volume, and to take further action such as cutting off electricity

supply to the booth if the exhibitor refuses to comply. In case of violation of this rule, the

construction deposit fee will not be refunded to the exhibitor.

Prize Drawings/Raffles

Public drawings can only be conducted if held within the confines of the booth. Due to fire safety

regulations, public aisles cannot be blocked. It is recommended that instead of a public drawing

(announcement) that you post the winner’s name within your booth.

Soliciting Exhibitors

Solicitation of Exhibitors is prohibited and could result in removal from the exhibition hall.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited throughout the exhibit hall and conference room at any time.

Alcohol

Alcohol is prohibited in the facility during set-up and dismantling for safety and insurance reasons.

Stand Cleaning

During the exhibition, the organizer will provide general cleaning of the exhibition hall (excluding

exhibitor’s booth) prior to the opening hours. It is the responsibility of the appointed stand-fitting

contractor to clean the exhibitor’s stand. The official stand-fitting contractor will be responsible for

the cleaning of organizer’s walk-on package booths. During the build-up and tear-down periods,

independent contractors appointed by exhibitors are responsible for the removal of their own

stand building/dismantling materials and rubbish.

Hazardous Materials

Unless approved by Organizer and the relevant authorities in writing, no open fire or combustible

gas is allowed to be used in the Centre, and no explosive, petrol and highly flammable toxic or

corrosive substance are allowed to be used in the hall. Radioactive substances shall not be

brought into the Centre.

No more than one (1) day’s supply of any solid or liquid hazardous material shall be stored within

the Leased Area or stands at any time, and the remainder should be stored in special containers

and sealed in a location confirmed by the government departments, SNIEC and Organizer.

Toxic wastes must be sealed in suitable containers with clear markings, and must be handled

according to the relevant government rules governing waste disposal.

No smoking is allowed in Leased Area and anywhere in the Centre with non-smoking signs

Fire Protection Measures/Fireproofing

All materials used in the construction and decoration of an exhibit must be flame retardant. All

carpeting and floor coverings must have Class A flame spread rating and UL between 0 and 25.

No storage of flammable materials is allowed in the utility areas.

Written approval must be obtained from the Shanghai Fire Safety Bureau for the following:

1) Display and operation of any heater, barbecue, heat producing or open flame devices, candles,

lanterns, torches, welding equipment or other smoke emitting materials as part of the exhibit.

2) Display and operation of any electrical, mechanical, or chemical devices which may be deemed

hazardous. If there is any question, if devices may be deemed hazardous, submit them to the

appropriate controlling authorities for approval.

3) All toxic and hazardous material, including flammable liquids, compressed gas or dangerous

chemicals. Special care must be taken not to obstruct or hide from the view to the fire protection

system, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation vents, fire safety equipment, fire hose reel/riser

cabinets, fire alarm pull stations, house lighting fixtures and supervising systems.

4) Any combustible material is prohibited during the building, especially elastic fabric.

Exhibits Move - In

Matters concerning freight forwarding should be addressed to the respective agents in the

shipping guidelines or to the Official Freight Forwarder directly, or to their agent in Shanghai.

Cargo that is consigned direct to the exhibition site should NOT arrive at the consigned address

(exhibition hall) earlier than 6/7/ 2020 i.e. before the build-up period.

When arriving at the Centre, the cargo vehicle of Party B shall enter the designated location for

unloading in the arranged order through the designated transportation passage before parking at

the designated parking lot. Trucks with the loading capacity of 5 tons and under can directly enter

the exhibition hall for unloading.

It is forbidden to move the goods in the public area, audience passage, entrance hall and the

entrance square.

The height of the vehicle allowed to enter into the hall shall not be higher than 4 meters with a

speed limit of 5 km/h.

Exhibitors, their agents or contractors are responsible for the early installation of their heavy or

large exhibits according to the move-in schedule provided by the organizer. When stand

structures are erected, it may not be possible to move in or install heavy and large exhibits that

arrive late.

Please note that, where mechanical handling within the exhibition halls is required, only the official

freight forwarder may be appointed. Forklifts, cranes and pallet trucks from other forwarders will

not be allowed into the exhibition halls.

Should any heavy or large exhibits arrive on-site without a forwarder being appointed, the

organizer will appoint the Official Freight Forwarder to be the site installation contractor on the

exhibitor’s behalf, and all costs, including any late handling surcharges incurred, will be borne by

the exhibitor.

* The exhibition site is designated as a Customs Bonded Area. All exhibits brought into the

exhibition site are tax-exempt provided they are re-exported immediately after the closing of the

exhibition. No exhibits are allowed to be taken out of the exhibition area without the prior approval

of Customs.

* All promotional materials such as printed matter, films, video cassettes, and slides to be shown

to the public during the exhibition must be approved in advance by the local authorities. Exhibitors

may appoint the Official Freight Forwarder to arrange this on their behalf.

* When bringing in goods yourself from overseas or locally, you must register with the official

freight forwarder for the purpose of customs clearance before any goods can be moved out of the

exhibition hall.

Tipping

VNU and all service contractors don’t receive any tipping at any time.

Lost & Found

Please turn in any lost articles to on-site inquiry counter or organizer office.

Banking Facilities

ATM machines are located in the Entrance Hall of the venue.

Business Centre

Business Centre is located in Venue Entrance Hall, provides faxing, typing, Internet, etc. service.

Car Parking

Exhibitors and visitors who enter SNIEC by motor vehicles must follow the guidance of the

security staff and pay applicable car parking fees.

Irresistible Force

If the exhibition would be ended before schedule or postponed, which is caused by force majeure,

such as natural forces including but not limited to the storm, typhoon, rainstorm, earthquake, fire,

flood or the collapse of exhibition hall which out of the organizers control; or other unavoidable

circumstances, as a result of violation of law Chinese exhibitors by Chinese court or other China

government departments, relevant authority organization, the prosecution, the organizers and the

contract will be cancelled immediately and no refund of any paid money; if you ignore any legal

regulations for exhibitors, organizers of the opposition leadership, the contract will be cancelled

immediately, at the same time the organizers do not refund any amount paid. Therefore, in this

case occurs, the organizer has the right to retain the funds even if the termination of the contract,

and will continue to exhibitors pay for the goods insurance.

The right of interpretation of this Regulation shall belong to the Organizer of this Exhibition.

Handling of Intellectual Property Infringement at the

Premises of Exhibition for Attending Merchants

Article 1

In order to protect intellectual property rights of entities attending TCT Asia 2020 (hereinafter as

"the Exhibition"), and to guarantee the legal and smooth proceeding of the exhibition, the current

regulations are enacted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Patent Law of the PRC,

the Trademark Law of the PRC, Copyright Law of the PRC, Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the

PRC.

Article 2

If, during the time of the exhibition, any attending entity discovers any infringing acts of other

attending entities, the former may entrust the Legal Counsel especially set for this exhibition to

handle the matter at the premises.

Article 3

"Legal Counsel" mentioned in this Regulation as to handle matters refers to the Law Firm and

entrusted by the Organizer of this Exhibition.

Article 4

The applicant who has the right to apply for disposal at the premises include:

1. Patentee, trademark owners;

2. Copyright owners who have accomplished creative work within the Chinese territory, or enjoy

copyright protection by the Chinese law according to the international convention;

3. Proprietors of prior rights who enjoy other intellectual property interests;

4. Interested persons of the above intellectual property rights;

5. Other parties who have the right to apply after examination.

Article 5

Documents and materials, which should be submitted by the applicant:

1. Certificate, certification or other written documents to prove that he is the owner of intellectual

property right in dispute and that this right remains valid at the time of application;

2. If the applicant is the interested person of the intellectual property right in dispute, apart from

the above the applicant, he/her shall have to submit certified documents to prove that he is the

interested person of such intellectual property right;

3. The applicant should submit other documents, materials or samples on the request of the

person handling the matter at the premises. If the materials supplied by the applicant do not

conform to the above stipulation, his application for disposal at the premises shall not be

accepted.

Article 6

Procedures for disposal at the premises:

1. The person in charge of the disposal at the premises will examine the application to see

whether it is acceptable;

2. Upon acceptance of the applicant, legal counsel shall proceed with preliminary investigation at

the premises, and decide whether the accused infringing acts of the accused party really exist;

3. If infringing acts are determined, legal counsel shall take disposal measures at the premises

according to the actual condition of the infringers; If the nature of infringing acts cannot be

determined at the premises, or the acts are determined as non-infringement, legal counsel shall

give the applicant necessary explanation.

Article 7

Disposal measures at the premises include:

1. Inquire for the responsible person;

2. Inspect the accused infringing product at the premises;

3. Order the accused infringer to retrieve from the Exhibition with the products, which have been

preliminary determined as infringement;

4. Take photos of the accused products so as to obtain relevant evidence;

5. Upon the applicant's request, on-site investigation documents shall be submitted.

Article 8

This Regulation is included in the rules and regulation in the exhibitors' manual. If, any entity

finally decides to attend this Exhibition, it shall be deemed as having accepted the binding of this

Regulation, and promising to respect other's intellectual property rights and to cooperate with the

work of legal counsel.

Article 9

The Organizer of this Exhibition authorizes legal counsel handling disposal at the premises

according to the Regulation. The on-site investigation documents submitted by the legal counsel

shall be deemed as submitted by the Organizer of this Exhibition.

Article 10

The right of interpretation of this Regulation shall belong to the Organizer of this Exhibition.
