1. PRESENTATION

ISOFT application is a client software for communication among iLOGS family loggers and a computer with the purpose of managing, handle and monitoring data. iSOFT integrates GSM/GPRS binary modbus protocol for data transferring among loggers and remote PC software. Through ISOFT the user can have full control of the existing loggers in one installation by monitoring their status and managing history logs transferring towards the computer workstations. The application has been developed for 32 and 64-bit architectures and Windows operating system. The user-machine interface is carried out both through the keyboard and mouse. Application features:

Clarity when monitoring the status and configuration of the elements that compose the installation.

Reliability in the usage and treatment of a great amount of information based on the installation historical data.

Quick configuration of all features that compose the communication.

Use of powerful tools for the management of the components that take part in a communication.

Ease of use of different elements that compose the application.

Finally, highlight that the GSM modem Works using a SIM card the user must acquire and insert it in its emplacement similarly to the way it is done in a mobile phone. On the other hand, gor GPRS communications it will be essential have internet connection into PC, with static an public IP. If not, it will be required redirecting modem input communications to enabled IP/ Port form iSOFT communications. Our technical department welcomes any suggestion for improvement transmitted with the aim of product innovation, adapting it to the evolution operating needs.

2. DOCUMENTATION RESULTING

This documentation contains information related to the use and management of the software ISOFT. Even so, sometimes reference to techniques and functions proper of Windows environment where the software has been developed are included. If the user wants to take advantage of all communication capabilities between ISOFT and a user’s application is highly recommended to get familiarised with the development of tools under Windows environments.

2.1. DOCUMENTATION CONTENTS

This reference manual is divided in 2 sections which in turn are divided in sub-sections:

1. Introduction: covers all aspects of the use of this documentation, the employed terminology, a depiction of general elements (controls, environment, printer) the user is going to utilise when working with this application as well as the needed requisites for its correct functioning.

2. User’s Manual: contains all the necessary information to configure and manipulate any of the different options and possibilities the application contains.

3. REQUIREMENTS

3.1. HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requisites are described next:

RAM Memory: minimun 2 Gb; System performance increases with memory.

Microprocessor speed upper 2,5 GHz.

Hard Disk: required a minimum of 1 Gb free space.

GSM communication working Serial port or Serial-USB converter for switch on desktop modem

GPRS communication working Ijnternet connection. PC would have to be visible and accessible from outside for iLogs calling process. Use methods: - M2M service. - Create communication bridge into the modem: network public IP redirect to

PC prívate IP.

Use directional arrow inside the panel to move table values into the map.

We also can move iLOGS image using mouse left button on it.

Save system map configuration.

On top of the window there is a button called Next map to allows load different

system saved maps.

If we want display factorized values linked with variables we must click on related

option on the window right.

5.9.10 Centralita feature

This feature is used to create a bridge between multiple iLOGS and iCONFIG software. Any iCONFIG can ask for iLOGS list that has its communication window open and redirect to centralita at this moment, and ask for remote connection. Once communication link is created centralita feature works as transparent bridge

Centralita require two independent communication channels. One for iLOGS and other one for iCONFIGs.

Steps:

Select iLOGS model with which centralita deature Works.

By defect our system shows prívate IP linked with current PC

Define communication sockets for iCONFIG and for iLOGS.

o Defined port for iCONFIG, link from iCONFIG software enter on Communications Chanels. In this window exists Centralita socket box to set up.

o iLOGS communication port is defined in admnistrative data tab inside

Communication type window section. The link toward centralita is enabled when iLOGS has its communication window open.

Advanced configuration associated with centralita parameters.

o Keep Alive Frecuency: When a iLOGS links with Centralita feature, it sends a message regularly. This allow to know iLOGS state and support communication. Default frecuency is 10 seconds.

o Lost Max Keep Alive: It points max. number of service messages it should lose before to consider iLOGS has stopped communications.

o Timeout: Each sent messages from Centralita to iLOGS requires a

verification. This field point waited time before consider lost answer.

Note: It is important point that Timeout should be lower Than Keep Alive Frecuency. When it send service message, we should wait a response before start a new service message. If not, two messages collides. o Enable Log: Switch on or switch off hard disk debugging store.

Once connection parameters are saved, use start button on upper area to leave the system in connection mode. On the rigth we can watch iLOGS and iCONFIG which require centralita connection. Once the connection toward iLOGS from iCONFIG has been completed, a register is created into Links panel. Events panel shows completed actions towards centralita. Although window is closed, Centralita feature is kept in the last state before close. If the Centralita is kept on enable state it shows a button on the main window.

5.10. File system and DB internal structure

5.10.1 Historical txt system structure

Decoded historical data file has a name

Path \ IdDL-dd_mm_yy-hh_mm_ss.txt.

Path refers to Log file configured box into application configuration section. iSOFT works with decoded plain files after receiving information. System accessible two format definitions are:

Register by variable format Each line has information about one variable. The line fields information are:

• Time-Stamp en el formato YYYY/MM/DD, HH:MM:SS • Calling iLOGS CRC configuration.

• Variable ID • Variable name • Variable value. (Decimal separator would be configured with

SEPDEC_LINEAPORVARIABLE field inside CCX_CRD configuration file).

Coma is a Separator character between each element.

Column by variable format Each line has an information about all register variables.

• The first line has name and units of all variables. • Next lines have information about all variables defined in Register task

inside iLOGS configuration.

5.10.2 DB system structure

After the information has been decoded within defined directory using plain txt files, DB system information management starts. The system will work with different DB system structures: Access 2003 y Access 2007-2010

The structure is similar in both of them. It differs only in the directory where the information is saved.

System DB It is created one DB for each type of saved information. DB inside information is divided into tablas which are referred to existing links or register iLogs. Directories: Access 2003 Sistema Folder Access 2007 Sistema2007 Folder

Historical data DB The information is divided in directory structure just like that:

Path\H_Year\H_MonthYear\Data_directory Within the directory BD_H_Datos.mdb or BD_H_Datos.accdb is created. In each one created DB, it will be set up a table for each register iLogs into the system.

Microsoft SQLServer y MySQL Both of them DB system have similar structure. It is defined a DB server to register information.

System DBs Once server is defined, within the server is created system DB by saving type of information. Inside, the information is divided in tables which are referred to the links and iLOGS.

Historical DB Each one historical data type are divided into DB where the DB name define the month and year of the saved historical type i.e. the format for historical DB name will be: HD_MontYear. Inside each DB is defined a table with registered iLOGS name inside the system where year / month linked data are saved.

Microsoft SQLServer (Reduced) This option reduce SQLServer manage system structure loading more information into each database.

System DB It is created one DB with name config_iSOFT where group all tables linked with the system. Each table is referred to an information type in addition it include one column to place link ID or iLOGS ID

Historical DB Administrator user define rhe name where save all received historical data from iLOGS. Once defined DB, it is created a table for each registered iLOGS into the system with this format: HD_NameiLogs Inside it is stored all received historical registers from iLogs into the table.

Table structure

All DB system internal structure management is the same. Existing columns in each table are:

Fecha Datalogger CRC Conex Nombre Valor

In addition, are added some columns referred with variable factorization:

NombreF ValorF UnidadF
