Identify Instructor Tasks Prior to Class
Before teaching the course: Go over the course materials carefully:
Units Exercises Instructor Guide.
Practice all exercises. The course exercises were tested on a copy of the demo database with the UK localization,
however, I have tried to make them as generic as possible so that you can run the course in your localization.
Prepare the Class Training System
If the course is delivered at one of SAP education centers – See “Training System” topic in the instructor guide.
If you choose not to reserve a training system and require participants to bring their own laptops or if you decide to build your own training system locally, then:
Use a copy of the demo database for either the UK or other preferred localization. Verify that the exercises and solutions run smoothly. Localizations that use BSP - use the a database that has this option enabled when demo
and practice the BSP process.
Course Prerequisites
Make sure the students are aware of the course prerequisites (detailed in the instructor guide). To achieve the course goals the students need to have a basic knowledge in financial
accounting. Mandatory Prerequisites:
Familiarity with SAP Business One navigation and functionality. Consulting or sales experience with at least one. Basic knowledge in financial accounting. If you don’t have the required background in financial accounting we recommend
reviewing accounting basics local book.
Recommended Prerequisite: Attend the course TB1000 SAP Business One - Logistics
Hints and Tips for Teaching TB1100
While teaching the course: Use the discussion questions to:
Refresh the audience memory on topics discussed in TB1000 or in previous units Explore the financial accounting background of the participants.
Discuss the business example – to provide context for that section. Verify that this is a valid example in the students localization.
Let the students work with the exercises and with the solutions: There is no “good” or “bad” working method.
Try to stick to the times provided in the instructor guide. Refer the students to additional information if necessary.
