Pharmaceutical Analysis
• Course began in 1967.• The course is bespoke and does not rely
on contributions from other courses.• Strongly practically based with the
students undertaking 200 hours practical plus a 3 month project during the year.
• In addition to academic staff lectures are given by experts from outside the University.
Course Numbers
• 2005-6 29 students
• 2006-7 44 students
• 2007-8 55 students
• 2008-9 35 students
• Majority of students are from India, Pakistan and the Middle East.
Employment
• Many students find jobs in the UK Pharmaceutical Industry.
• For the year 2006-7 employment (44 students) is approximately as follows:
