PROMPT: Installation for the entrance hall of the Ateneo de Madrid while keeping intact the original interior

CONCEPT: Bring the Ateneo into the street using the Ateneo’s historical connection to Spanish authors. Proposed to install LED lit glass panels engraved with quotes from Spanish literature. In addition, a new LED lit glass floor was added to increase the utility of the space, while creating a more desirable entry.

ELI WHITNEY MUSEUM AND GREENHOUSECONCEPT: Create a dynamic building inspired by the form of the site, create a series of overlapping spaces, create a building that cuts into the varying landscapes (water, rock, earth) making the existing landscape part of the museum.

GROUP PROJECT CONCEPT: Create a New Pedestrian Bridge over a highly trafficked bridge that serves vehicular, public,

and pedestrian transportations. This new bridge will alleviate the anticipated problem of a new metro stop by the Galata

Bridge. The bridge will also add green space and create a covering for the already existing marketplace at the foot of the

bridge. The new bridge also creates more pedestrian friendly access to both sides of the Golden Horn by taking into account

the steep topography of the city.

Assisted sculptor Cristina Lei Rodriguez, featured in Art Basel, in the design process. Concept was to create a shelter-like structure using colored glass. Completed 3D renderings and drawings for the Public Art Sculpture.
