The Budding Foundation launched their brand new grotto at South Downs Nurseries in 2017. In its first season, Santa’s Toy Factory saw over 2,100 children and raised over £11,000, to be used helping young people in need in our local area. In 2018, the introduction of our new online booking system allowed us to surpass our target of £15,000 for the season, raising an unbelievable £23,000!

This year, with the addition of our brand new ‘Santa’s Enchanted Forest’ Grotto at Old Barn Garden Centre, we’re hoping to raise in excess of £35,000 for the charity.

That’s where our lovely volunteers come in!

We’re looking for new Elves to join our volunteer team at Santa’s Toy Factory at South Downs Nurseries in Hassocks, and Santa’s Enchanted Forest at Old Barn Garden Centre at Dial Post, Horsham.

Minimum age 16

Santa’s Toy Factory and Santa’s Enchanted Forest open every weekend from the 23rd November, with the possibility of opening on certain weekdays. Elfing shifts are usually between 3 and 4 hours, with some all-day shifts available.

Don’t worry if you cannot commit to numerous shifts. We know everyone is very busy at this time of year, and are grateful for any hours you can do as a volunteer
