Distributing ChannelsXbox 360: Gears of War 3 can only be played on the Xbox 360; the previous Gears of War games used to work on computer as well, however Bungie stated that it would cost a lot of money to put the game on to computer for the third game and they wanted to release the game to their specific target audience who put most of the money into it which was Xbox 360 players.

Prices: As Gears of War 3 has been out for a couple of years now the price may vary greatly. When the game was first released it would have cost around £40 to £45 pound. (This doesn’t include limited edition forms of the game which sometimes may have sold for over a £100.) However the price of the game has reduced greatly to around £6 to £15.

Retail Outlets: Pretty much any retail outlet that sells video games will sell Gears of War 3, this is because of how popular its predecessors were and because Microsoft Gaming are very well known for making successful games such as Halo.

Internet Sites: Practically all internet sites that sell games and electronic equipment will also sell Gears of War 3. This is most probably because internet sites will sell all kinds of video games no matter how popular; however if you go onto these sites and search video games Gears of War 3 is likely to be one of the most popular ones there.
