ABOUT TLA… Established in 2007 as yet another vehicle of DA to disseminate
sustainable development Aims at Capacity Building for social empowerment, asset creation,
income generation and entrepreneurship development Target Group – youth, women and community groups Three pronged strategy of TLA: Skill and knowledge building on advanced rural on-farm and off-farm livelihood
options Life skill development and vocational training to enhance employability in the new
urban economy Training on enterprise development with access to credit and market linkages for self-
employment
