The different stages of an EPC project can be defined as:

Pre Site Project Studies: Soil and Flood Reports. Land preparation and levelling for the start of the construction works. Installation of the adequate substructure. Installation of the module support structure. Installation of the PV module panel on the structure. Installation of the Harness Cable. Installation of the electrical system. Construction of Civil Works: Roads, Fence, Control buildings, Inverter & Transformer stations. Surveillance and Monitoring Installations. Commissioning and Check for Grid Connection. Connection to Grid with Utility.

  • Operation & Maintenance Service is an essential element throughout the project lifecycle.

    O&M

    16

An optimal O&M service is the key to reduce costs and maximise the performance. In the role as technical operator of solar installa-tions we offer to our customers a complete, tailor-made service of high standard quality in the field of technical management and the monitoring of facilities and sites. We will do a complete analy-sis and evaluation of each site in order to deter-mine the requirements for the O&M service. Assyce Asia enters into result driven contractual commitments, which guarantees a high level of availability of the PV plant and eventually will help the project to reduce full lifecycle costs and maxi-mise performance output. Health and Safety is a key part of any O&M service, therefore at Assyce Asia we have established high standards.

  • PROJECTS

Assyce Group has participated in over 200 MW on ground and rooftop projects.

Assyce Asia has realized and partici-pated in the following projects in Thailand:

    Assyce Group and Assyce Thailand

    20

  • The Nahkon Ratchasima Solar Project was one of the very first in Thailand of its size, it was built in 2011-2012 using around 95,000 units of First Solar FS275 innovative, thin-film solar modules. This Project is located in the Isan region in the northeast of Thailand.

Covering around 15 hectares, the NRS Solar Plant, can supply enough electricity to meet the annual needs of more than 5,000 Thai homes. It generates yearly more than 10,500 MWh of clean renew-able energy, reducing the CO2 emissions by over 6,200 t every year.

    Nakhon Ratchasima (NRS) (7,5 MWp)

    21

  • Situated in Chiang Rai Province in the very North of Thailand close to the Golden Triangle, this project is the biggest of its kind in this area. With 9,9 MWp is generates throughout the next 20 years an average energy of more than 13,000 MWh/year provid-ing green electricity to approximate 6,800 Thai house-holds, since 2013.

The solar farm is composed of 40,896 Polycrystalline mod-ules from REC PE 240 and 245 W class and 16 ABB inverters.

During the execution of this project more than 250 people from various disciplines have been involved, making it possible with joined forces to achieve completion within 6 months.

    Chiang Rai (CRS) (9,9 MWp)

    22

  • 23

Samut Sahkon (ATCE 4&5) (6+4 MWp)

ATCE 4 and ATCE 5 PV Project by Symbior Energy is expected to generate more than 14,500 MWh/year of renewable energy, supplying clean green electricity to more than 7,000 households in this area and reducing CO2 emissions by 8,500 t/year. This PV Power Plant is using over 90,000 units of FS4 110 First Solar CdTe Thinfilm technology and ten SMA Outdoor inverters 900CP XT. Special cabling from Jurchen Technologies for low DC losses. The plant is monitored with equipment from Skytron Energy, which allows to control the plant in realtime.

Situated around 75 km southwest of Bangkok, these two solar plants totaling 10 MW were a real engineering challenge, which not many would have faced.

The limited time for execution and construction during rainy season made this project very questionable. An optimized flood control, the professional hard work involved, as well as the strict control of the timeline and coordination of the related works achieved the connection in time.

Besides the fact that through these self consumption Solar Plants the schools have a support to meet their energy needs by reducing their electricity bills, more than 1.000 school children get the chance to learn more about solar energy as one of the important clean green energy resources.

The Bangkok International Preparatory & Secondary School Rooftop Solar Power Plant installed in 2013 is equipped with modules from REC 245PE and inverter from SMA SB 2500TL. It is designed and calcu-lated to produce an energy yield of approxi-mately 4,200 kWh annually, avoiding ca. 2,5 tons of CO2 emissions each year.

Bangkok Prep SchoolSolar Rooftop (BPS) (3kWp)

Assyce together with its partners Sonnedix, REC, SMA and ABB have donated three PV solar rooftop power plants to
