Cafeteria/Lunch Rules
• All students report to cafeteria during lunch. • Students not permitted to be anywhere else in building during lunch without
permission and a pass.• Need to study during lunch? Passes issued by classroom teachers to go to library
during lunch ONLY when work/study/research time is needed.• Ask permission/check out with administration before leaving cafeteria to use
restroom.• Restroom use on 1st floor only during lunch.• Clean up after yourself.• Patio access is a privilege and will only be permitted when cafeteria’s cleanliness is
maintained.• No food/drinks on patio.• Stay on brick pavers in front of cafeteria during lunches.

Girls’ LAX: Varsity: Tantasqua fell to Shrewsbury by a score of 4-16. The half time score was 2-9, in favor of Shrewsbury. Highlights for Tantasqua included: Camie Freeland 1 goal 1 assist, Alyssa Slade 1 goal 1 assist, Clair Matlak 1 goal. MaddyLowell 1 goal, Grace Seguin 1 assist, and goalie Mandy Burns had 12 saves. WHAT’S NEW IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION/FIELD HOUSE
• Abide by new entrance/exit traffic flow. This is for safety and supervision.
• PE Students are to change immediately upon arrival to field house.
• Attendance will be taken AFTER you change to be sure participation is accurately graded.
• Team locker rooms for athletes only and doors are locked between 7:45 and 2:00.
• All students are to secure belongings in lockers. See PE teacher for lock. Too big for locker? Ask PE teacher to lock in office.
• Students are not permitted to “hang-out” in field house before school, during lunches, or after school.

Model United Nations (UN) Club
Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically roleplay delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN conferences, which is usually organized by a high school or college MUN club. Thousands of middle school, high school, and college students across the country and around the world participate in Model United Nations, which involves substantial researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

The Herren Project’s (THP) Project Purple initiative is to encourage people of all ages to stand up to the pressures of drugs and alcohol. The THP Project Purple initiative encourages students to be true to themselves and support one another as they navigate life’s challenges. Student Drivers
All student drivers driving on and off campus or parking on campus must register vehicle in Main Office. You will need your make, model, year, color of vehicle, and license plate information.
Once your vehicle is registered, you must display your parking tag in your front windshield daily.

Reminder for students staying after school:
NO VISITORS AT JUNIOR HIGH!!
• High School students are not permitted togo to the junior high school after school.
• Any student staying after school should be in help session, athletic practice, or other supervised club or activity.
• BUSES:• LATE BUSES: • 3:30 buses run T-W-Th beginning Tuesday, September 5th
• 5:00 buses run daily beginning Tuesday, August 29th. • Leicester will have 3:30 late bus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays—Sturbridge #10. • Buses—there are no notes permitted on half days, day before vacation or long weekend.
Additionally, there are no bus notes permitted daily for Brookfield Bus #6, Sturbridge bus #7, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 16, and Holland Bus #2 as those buses are at capacity.
Dress Code Questions?
• Remove hoods.• No exposed underwear
and/or undergarments• No midriffs, open backs, or
open sided shirts.• No cleavage. • All shirts should have 2
sleeves/straps. • No open/cut sides of shirts,
leaving sides of body/undergarments exposed.
• No sheer shirts. • Shorts/skirts should be an
appropriate length for school (not beach or club!)
• No profane language or references to drugs/alcohol
Attendance Information
• If you’re absent, you must have a call or note within 24 hours of absence. Unexcused absences will result in consequences.
• All late arrivals to school must sign-in at front desk.
• Students are permitted 3 unexcused tardies per school year and 3 excused tardiesper quarter for viable reasons. Students exceeding tardy policy will receive consequences—mandatory help sessions. All calls/notes for tardiness must be received within 24 hours of tardiness.
• Any student getting dismissed must submit note from parent/guardian to front desk at start of the day and sign out at front desk before leaving the building.
Building Evacuation:Fire Drill Evacuation Locations by Room:
Evacuate through closest exit/doors as indicated on signage in your room. Then assemble as a class according to the following:
*Classes or students in Science Labs, Computer Labs, or in Library should report to their classroom’s regular reporting location.
*All teachers need to check in with Administrator, regardless of whether you have prep, as we also need to be sure that you’ve safely evacuated.

JOB FAIR!!!
Date: Wednesday, April 25.Time: 1:00-2:30Bay Path Voc. Tech. to be held in their gymnasium.Information: We expect to have at least 30 businesses interested in interviewing for employees and internships. We plan on setting it up as a 2-part job fair. The first part would be student only for seniors and juniors from 1:00-2:30. To participate in this portion of the event, we would expect each school to transport their students as it is still part of the school day. In addition to the interviewing stations, we are pulling 2 classes together for students. One will be a panel of 3-4 business people offering a real world set of expectations of what employers are looking for in entry level employees with Q&A. The second would be a resume building clinic.
