Talent Tampere: Regional Co-operation for Talent Attraction
A permanent network and co-ordinated co-operation to attract and retain talented internationals in the Tampere region.

The main goals of Talent Tampere Start
1. Tampere – the Talent Magnet! The Tampere region is known as
an internationally attractive region, where international talents are
considered as a vital asset and a significant resource of the
business life.
2. Start it up! The coordination, activation and marketing of the Talent Tampere Network and service design. The permanent structure for Talent Tampere Network.
3. International talents to support export! Supporting internationalization of local SMEs by international talents.

– Cultural knowledge
• But this is only the tip of the iceberg… International competence is also:

Talent Tampere Mentoring Programmes
• Building bridges between international talents and experienced professionals.
• Organised together by Tredea KOP-project and Unipoli Tampere network of TAMK, TUT and UTA.
• Mentees are international university students and skilled immigrants.
• Mentors are experienced professionals from different fields.
• Year 2014-2015:
– 40 pairs
– 3 programmes: two in English, one in Finnish
– last from September 2014 to March 2015
– consists 5 one-to-one meetings and 4 training session
• Next call for mentors will start in April-May 2015
