National Youth Leadership Training Grand Canyon Council This 6-day outdoor course is an intense and challenging experience that will help Venturers and Scouts develop the knowl-EDGE and managerial skills needed to immediately improve unit operations. Participants will be divided into Patrols, experience dynamic presentations, play games, and conquer challenges designed to develop the core leadership skills coveted by Fortune 500 Companies. NYLT is lead by youth mentors who will inspire participants to develop new life skills and view the world from different perspectives. TAKE YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL ! REQUIREMENTS Participants must complete an application that is signed and approved by his or her unit leader Scouts must be at least 13 and First Class and Venturers 14 by the course start date A current BSA medical is required for all participants (insert link) Attend an orientation meeting prior to the course Complete a Resource Questionnaire 2018 FEES $225.00 due 30 days prior to course date A late fee of $30.00 may be applied if paid less than 30 days prior to course date. Deposits and full payments are transferable but not refundable. Fees include two participant T-shirt, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, baseball cap, training materials, food, loads of challenges and lots of fun.
