1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained1 (15 oz) can butter beans, drained1 (15 oz) can lima beans, drained1 (16 oz) can pork and beans, drained1/2 LB. bacon, cut into small pieces1 large onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, chopped3/4 C. brown sugar1/2 C. ketchup1/2 C. vinegar1/4 C. molasses1 tsp. dry mustard

Place kidney beans, but-ter beans, lima beans, and pork and beans in a 2-quart casserole dish. Heat a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir bacon, onion, and garlic until ba-con is browned, about 10 minutes. Pour off excess fat. Whisk brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, molas-ses, and mustard into ba-con mixture; simmer until cooked through, about 20 minutes. Pour sauce over beans in the casserole dish.Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, 1 hour 15 minutes.

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs 2.00-4.00 lower, over 500 lbs steady. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower. Demand good. Supply moderate. Good pre-holiday run with several nice cattle on hand. There is a growing disparity between fats and cash feeders with the fed market looking a little like Jack and Rose on the Titanic, take a deep breath and start kicking toward the surface, while the feeder market continues with business as usual. And nobody knows how far it is to the surface ( current fed marketings). Supply included: 95% Feeder Cattle (61% Steers, 36% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 5% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%.
