1911 First UK Aerial Post red-brown illustrated die 4 postcard and sent on the first day of flights on September 9th. The postcard has been signed by Thomas Wareham Smith (1874-1938) who was a newspaper publicity director and founded the famous Ideal Home Exhibition.

1911 First UK Aerial Post with scarce Zog Cleaning Paint logo, several companies paid for adverts on the postal stationary flown with this Zog example being one of the rarest to find, in good condition for its age.

1912 King George V Ideal Stamp Exhibition postcard franked with a 1d and Special Event postmark dated 17th October, sent to Germany.

Front1910 Postcard with illustration of Charles Rolls after his return journey over the Channel on 2nd June. Charles Rolls (1877-1910) co-founded Rolls-Royce and became to the first Briton to be killed in an aeronautical accident during a display over Bournemouth.

1949 illustrated card flown on the Dutch Air Balloon Henri Dunant with an attractive flown cachet. This was the first air balloon to start its flight from Great Britain when it took off on September 24th from Ulster in Northern Ireland, a scarce item.

Unused WWI German Air Fleet Union Military postcard with an illustration of a Schutte-Lanz Airship bombing Warsaw, they were sold to finance Germany’s ‘lighter than air fleet’.

1910 Postcard with illustration of American aviator John Armstrong Drexel sent on August 16th, four days earlier on the 12th he had broken the world altitude record by flying at 6,750 feet at Blackpool in a Bleriot monoplane.

by the Grahame White Aviation Co’ cachet. It was sent from Portsmouth to

London with a 6th August postmark.
