CamKits Etched kits and associated parts of predominantly Cambrian Railways prototypes in 4mm scale Catalogue V1 December 2020 CamKits originated from the need for locomotives and stock for a model of the Cambrian Railways station at Three Cocks, located at the junction of the Cambrian Railways Mid Wales line from Moat Lane to Brecon and the Midland Railway line from Hereford to Swansea. The kit etchings are in 15 th nickel silver and parts are generally 3D printed in resin. Locomotive kits are based around a single piece boiler assembly with chimney, dome, safety valve and firebox door, cast in resin from a 3D printed master; other parts that cannot be obtained commercially are included. Coach kits are etches only and parts are available separately. CamKits has also collaborated with the Welsh Railways Research Circle to produce a comprehesive range of waterslide transfers for the Cambrian Railways in 4mm and 7mm scale, the transfers being printed by Fox Transfers. The transfers are available from CamKits and the WRRC, the 4mm ones are listed in this catalogue there is a separate catalogue for the whole range on the WRRC website. An image of part of the Three Cocks layout showing a model of the viaduct at Llanstephan and a train made up entirely of CamKits models. Still work in progress as you can see. My aim is not to be a full time trader but just to make my products available to those who would like to model the Cambrian Railways. Consequently I don’t have a fully functioning website, just this lo-tec catalogue and I don’t have a facility for on-line ordering and payment. Orders for products in this catalogue can be place directly with CamKits or with Taff Vale Models and will be processed by Camkits. Orders for the CamKits/WRRC range of Cam Rys transfers will need to be placed with CamKIts or the WRRC. Due to the anticipated limited demand for my products I only keep a small stock of kits and parts but these can be replenished usually within 4-6 weeks. CamKits Etched kits and associated parts of predominantly Cambrian Railways prototypes in 4mm scale

Catalogue V1 December 2020

CamKits originated from the need for locomotives and stock for a model of the Cambrian Railways station at

Three Cocks, located at the junction of the Cambrian Railways Mid Wales line from Moat Lane to Brecon and

the Midland Railway line from Hereford to Swansea.

The kit etchings are in 15th

nickel silver and parts are generally 3D printed in resin. Locomotive kits are based

around a single piece boiler assembly with chimney, dome, safety valve and firebox door, cast in resin from a

3D printed master; other parts that cannot be obtained commercially are included. Coach kits are etches

only and parts are available separately.

CamKits has also collaborated with the Welsh Railways Research Circle to produce a comprehesive range of

waterslide transfers for the Cambrian Railways in 4mm and 7mm scale, the transfers being printed by Fox

Transfers. The transfers are available from CamKits and the WRRC, the 4mm ones are listed in this catalogue

there is a separate catalogue for the whole range on the WRRC website.

An image of part of the Three Cocks layout showing a model of the viaduct at Llanstephan and a train made

up entirely of CamKits models. Still work in progress as you can see.

My aim is not to be a full time trader but just to make my products available to those who would like to

model the Cambrian Railways. Consequently I don’t have a fully functioning website, just this lo-tec

catalogue and I don’t have a facility for on-line ordering and payment.

Orders for products in this catalogue can be place directly with CamKits or with Taff Vale Models and will be

processed by Camkits. Orders for the CamKits/WRRC range of Cam Rys transfers will need to be placed with

CamKIts or the WRRC. Due to the anticipated limited demand for my products I only keep a small stock of

kits and parts but these can be replenished usually within 4-6 weeks.
