Transportation is the largest single source of air pollution in Canada.

2/3 of the carbon monoxide in our atmosphere

1/3 of the nitrogen oxides in our atmosphere

1/4 of the hydrocarbons in our atmosphere


Emissions from cars are the leading cause of:

Climate Change – Predominantly C02 emissions Even though vehicles today pollute less the

emissions are growing faster than emissions from any other sector

Transportation accounts for approx. 30% of the GHG in Canada

Light duty vehicles account for 11.7% and trucks account for 8.3% of the GHG emissions in Canada



2. Urban Smog Result of organic compounds and nitrogen

oxide react with warm temperatures and sunlight

It is estimated that smog reduction in Canada’s major cities would result in a $10 billion annual savings



3. Acid Rain Sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide are

Bi-annual testing with limits that are calculated by year and type of engine


Heavy Duty Vehicle Testing

SAE J1667 Snap Acceleration Test

Gases tested: Opacity – The amount of light that can be blocked by Particulate Matter (PM) in the exhaust emissions

Annual testing with limits based on the year of the engine. Incentives for bi-annual testing if requirements exceeded

HOW IT WORKS HOW IT WORKS

The Tadger creates a controlled turbulence through a fixed geometric configuration. This turbulence conditions the fuel to allow it to burn more efficiently. It is installed like an in-line fuel filter on the input fuel line.
