Introduction1.1
Packcity intelligent parcel locker solution is an automated electronic locker system thatsecurely enables you to store and distribute a large volume of inbound parcels and informrecipients of their arrival.
It helps optimise your inbound parcel management process, allowing recipients to pick uptheir parcels in just a few seconds, 24/7. Packcity helps you to save space in your mailroom,despite increasing volumes of inbound parcels.
This convenient service means you and your recipients will spend less time managing andreceiving inbound parcels.
The solution consists of:
• Intelligent parcel lockers – modular lockers, with a choice of locker size and aneasy to use touchscreen interface, allow parcel retrieval in just a few seconds
• Reporting and tracking software – Remote management and monitoring of parcellockers and a range of tracking and reporting capabilities ensures optimum usageof the lockers and end-to-end accountability
This guide introduces the main functionalities of the locker system.

1. Tap on PACKCITY logo in the top left corner.
2. Enter username and password or scan credentials (using barcode reader).

At login there will be a check to see if there are boxes that have been left open.
This step is mandatory for security reasons as well as to have the correct count of availableboxes (an open box is considered not available).

Operator Home Screen4.1
The Operator Home Screen allows a delivery agent or a technician (depending on theirrole) to:
• Have a detailed view of the availability of the locker boxes in the machine,• Access to different functionalities authorised by his role: Load, Unload, Tool Box…
UNLOAD PARCELSCollect parcels that are expired or have been blocked.
LOAD PARCELSPlace parcels in the lockers so recipient can retrieve at their convenience.
TOOLS BOXHave a complete view of the status of all boxes in the Packcity locker system.

1. To start loading process, scan the barcode or manually enter the barcode number.
2. Consignee selection page appears and consignees’ list is empty.

Searching a consignee inPackctiy system's addressbook
5.2
After typing 3 characters, an auto-completion search will be launched automatically on 3fields: Last name, first name and complementary information in order to propose a list ofpotential consignees.
• Search is not case sensitive, you can enter lowercase oruppercase characters
• Only 3 special characters are supported : the space, thequote (‘) and the hyphen (-)
• The space character is used as the "AND" separator for thesearch and is not included inside the text string the searchis based on
If the search results in only one name, the consignee will be automatically selected andCONTINUE button will be enabled.

Using buttons Up and Down, look through the list to find the right consignee for the parcel.
When the number of records matching the search is too high, a message tells the user toenter more characters to narrow the search.

Loading parcels: Comfort zone5.3
A recipient can request to always receive his/her packages in a specific comfort zone. If acomfort zone has been specified for a recipient but there are no boxes available in thatzone, the popup message below appears and the delivery agent will not be able to deliverthe parcel into the Packcity system.

1. If machine has been configured to allow the loading of parcels only after all loaded parcelshave been unloaded, then when user presses on the Load button, they will receive thispop up.
2. This pop up might appear at different steps when no boxes are available.
3. If a feature has been deactivated for the machine and if user presses on the button, theywill receive an error message.

4. The message will show up when user scans or enters an invalid parcel barcode number.
5. The message will show up when an option has been activated that requires the machineto only accept parcels for which it has received a notification.

Unloading parcels from Pack-city lockers
6.1
There are 3 cases where the mailroom user should unload parcels from Packcity lockers:
• Expired parcelsWhen recipient did not collect their parcel and the time limit to pickup a parcel hasran out, then the mailroom agent should unload the parcel from the locker.
• Dropped parcelsCarrier has left a parcel in a locker to be picked up by mailroom.
• Blocked parcelsFor security reasons or due to an error, recipient should not be permitted to pick uphis parcel.
When the mailroom user launches this action from “Operator Home” page, the Packcitysystem will start the unloading process from the first box on the top left-corner to the lastbox on bottom right by opening boxes one by one. The user can follow the process on thescreen to view the next box to be opened and can report a problem if a box did not openas expected. Once all boxes containing parcels to be unloaded are empty, the mailroomuser will return to the “Operator Home” page.

Summary page is shown at the end of unloading process when user presses on cancel orthere are no more parcels left to be unloaded.If no parcels have been unloaded from the Packcity system, then a pop-up will show: “Youhave unloaded 0 parcels”.

• The Tool Box screen presents a general view of the status of all boxes in the Packcitysystem. A user can check the number of boxes that are available, loaded, damaged,soiled, etc as well as graphically view the status of the lockers.
• When a box contains a parcel (either a parcel has been loaded or a carrier hasdropped off parcels to be picked up), it will be presented in GREEN.
• When a parcel is ready to be unloaded, it will be shown in BLUE.• 3 statuses can lay over the normal color of a box:
Dysfunctional-- Soiled- Opened
• When a box is opened, then its color changes to orange, even if it has been markedas Dysfunctional, Soiled or opened.

How to change Language onthe Home page?

1. Language can be changed on the Home page. Click on flag icon.
- If there is only one language available, no flag icon is shown.- If there are two or more languages available, then languages switching works
like a turning carousel/loop.- The flag in front will show the next available language.
