Summary:This is a report of the activities of the first quarter for the Composting Education Program in 2017. During the quarter our workshop service was most active as the community events season has yet to fully begin. Concerning schools, a group of volunteers has taken on the task of forming a school education committee. This group will be responsible for evaluating our current offerings and determining if improvements or additions are necessary. Also, our composting demonstration projects are near complete at both sites and workshops will be conducted on site this summer.
