Untuk mendapatkan kondisi seimbang antara penggunaan lahan untuk
penyangga air (hutan, hutan rakyat dan perkebunan) dibutuhkan perbandingan
luas sebesar 42%. Kondisi ini akan menggambarkan bahwa debit yang terjadi
akan seimbang dengan kemampuan sungai mengalirkan air dan dapat mengurangi
banjir.

Penelitian ini tentang seringnya terjadi banjir di Kabupaten Aceh Utara dengan judul penelitian “Pengaruh Tataguna Lahan Dan Partisipasi Masyarakat Terhadap Pengendalian Banjir di Kabupaten Aceh Utara” Untuk dapat terlaksananya penelitian ini mohon bantuan dan kesediaan bapak/ibu menyisihkan sedikit waktu menjawab pertanyaan yang disampaikan petugas kami (Enumerator) dalam rangka mengumpulkan data yang berkaitanm dengan banjir di Aceh Utara sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi Pemerintah Daerah dalam mengambil kebijakan untuk pengendalian banjir.
