At last! Another trip for the men. No we didn’t forget. When : Wednesday 25th November , 2015
We are organising a day trip to the Qld Fire and Emergency Service for our male carers. After our visit to Qld fire and Emergency Service we will have lunch at Southport Sharks.
The buses will leave to go home at 1.45pm We have a great bunch of blokes due for another great day out. Make sure you join us. Contact the office on 55965726, no later than Monday 23rd November to attend.

From the Administration REPORTS
Your child’s report will be handed out early in Week 10 (the last week of school). It will provide a comprehensive summary of the progress your child has made throughout the semester. Interviews were held last term so unless you
had a specific need, the reports will complete your reporting for this year.

We are now taking enrolments for next year so if you know of someone who
plans to be at our school next year, please ask them to contact the office.
GRADUATION
Our final year students are very excited as the Graduation date of Wednesday 25 November draws near. This is a celebration of their end of schooling and
the transition to post school options. We wish to make this a special celebration with families/carers of the achievement each student has made in reaching this important milestone. Well done students. ADDITIONAL PUPIL FREE DAY
A note to remind you that the State Government has announced an additional Pupil Free Day on Monday 25 January 2016. Along with Australia Day being
Tuesday 26 January as a public holiday, the first day of the new school year will be Wednesday 27 January 2016. INTERSCHOOL SPORT
Our school will have a cricket match with Beenleigh Special School here at our school on Monday 30 November 2015. The junior secondary students will be
excited to interact with another school. It is from 10.00am—12.30pm so please join us if you can.

This FREE event is organised by Carers Queensland and paid for by Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre. Each Carer attending needs to be registered with both organisations.
