—While the digital twin as a concept has been around for a while, Industry 4.0 adoption has accelerated the need for its adoption by industrial organizations aiming to improve efficiency and reduce operational expenses, while effectively minimizing operation risk and enhancing safety. This focus comes from the ability to leverage big data for insights, analytics, simulations and predictions – enabling a smarter and safer enterprise.

System Twin Integrity Hub provides an automated tool for business users to address their asset data integrity and consolidation challenges with minimal human intervention . It helps in transforming source data from multiple asset sources within an enterprise to a standard enterprise data structure. Once metadata starts

flowing into the system, pre-processed rules are executed to determine integrity checks across multiple systems to which it is connected. Additionally, users can employ built-in IT-OT mapping rules to map equipment to their respective sensors – generating industry specific hierarchies.

ABB ABILITY GENIX INDUSTRIAL ANALYTICS AND AI SUITE™

Genix System Twin Integrity Hub (STIH) comes with a range of capabilities offering multiple possibilities for business users and functional specialists. It can capture data from multiple sources – including IT, OT, ET systems for tags, assets, systems, sensor IDs, metadata, relationship information and more. Its pre-built, configurable connectors help users to extract metadata and relationship information. Users can leverage rule-based transformation of asset information – hierarchies, metadata, and relations using the data transformation capability.

STIH can be used to generate asset models with data loading and basic consistency checks on source systems schemas as per common industry standards (ISO15926) with higher degrees of customization. Data integrity issues can be easily identified using the Rules Library to validate data within and across domains. To facilitate easy mapping for source system schemas with common industry standard schemas, an Automated Mapping Interface has been provided. Users can also benefit from rich data visualization features using reports and dashboards to identify data integrity issues.
