Application Management and Self-Service Software can be packaged and made available via either

push installation or Publishing Both Push and Publish availability of software can be

controlled based on parameters of user accounts, machine accounts or both depending on need

Software can also be removed based on the same criteria

Company Portal can be used to make Published software available (but for more powerful solutions you will want to use Service Manager (SCSM)


Compliance Management

Security settings can be set based on Collections Configuration Baselines can be set for Collections

with Alerts sent or Actions taken when an object falls out of compliance with the baseline

Metering of software can be set to ensure license compliance

Microsoft provides Predefined Configuration Packs for many products (requires the download and use of Security Compliance Manager (SCM))
