Very High Pressure Operation
Project includes design and analysis of pressure vessel for very high pressureoperation range from 25,000 PSI to 1,00,000 PSI. Thick Walled cylinder theory isreviewed with elastic and elastic-plastic theory, considering single and multilayercylinders. Analysis to be carried out for the multilayer pressure vessel consideringthe layer thickness and number of layer. This include the identification of materialsfor multilayer, design procedure, theoretical validation, stress analysis for themultiple layer cylinder. Stress analysis include finding the Hoop Stress i.e.circumferential stresses acting on longitudinal section and longitudinal stress actingon the circumferential surface of the cylinder.
