With operations ranging from motor vehicles and real estate development, to home electronics
and computer operating systems, our manufacturing base covers the production of a wide range
of fibreglass (FRP) boats as well as bitumen-based membranes for use in construction.
From our headquarters on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai’s busy southern corridor, the Al Yousuf
Group runs a network of offices and showrooms that stretch across the UAE and into the Gulf
and the Middle East. Our markets, however, reach far beyond into the Indian subcontinent, the
CIS countries, Asia, Europe, Africa and America.
Over the decades, we have developed powerful partnerships with some of the world’s greatest
brand names and principals based in East Asia, Europe and the US, and many of these have
grown into extraordinarily long-term relationships.
We are constantly seeking new opportunities to partner with people that are themselves looking
to expand into new markets. Increasingly, these companies appreciate the advantages of
partnering with Al Yousuf – as a venerable organisation that has strengthened immeasurably over
the past half century.
Vision Statement
Al Yousuf Group will be a leader synonymous with trust and care throughout the region and
beyond, and become part of community lifestyles.

Al Yousuf symbolises what can be achieved when the private sector and national leadership share
a single vision and work in partnership to realise their joint aims.
Based on the vision of founder and chairman the late Yousuf Habib Al Yousuf, and the leadership
of his sons - Eqbal and Ahmed - the Al Yousuf Group continues to play a major role in the
emergence of the UAE, and Dubai in particular, as the economic model for the region.
The Group has grown remarkably through a combination of aggressive marketing and the
continuous addition of new agencies and businesses. From a small trading firm based in Dubai,
we now have a network of subsidiaries and associate companies in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia
and Qatar, and our staff strength totals close to 5,000 employees.
Our portfolio is as handsome as it is diversified. It ranges for example from Daihatsu, Daewoo,
Yamaha and Suzuki, to HP, Avaya, NEC, LG, Fujitec and EPSON. Meanwhile, our real Estate
operation has thrived throughout the Group’s history, and has been instrumental in developing
tour many showrooms and industrial premises.
All these achievements are a long way from the tiny rented space where the young Yousuf Habib
Al Yousuf once founded the multi-million dirham business that still carries his name.
The concept of 'partnership' is the core focus of Yousuf Habib Al Yousuf’s philosophy -
partnership between government and business, between distributor and principal, between the
company and the customer, and between the management and staff. It is a concept, which he is
quick to acknowledge that he learnt from Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the late Ruler of
Dubai, and his sons, the present rulers.

The vision, the values and the principals
'Partnership', however, means practicing a number of principles and responsibilities:
• Creating long term relationships
Many agencies handled by Al Yousuf have lasted more than 10 years
• Giving value and quality service
Fulfilling the needs of customers is more important than selling a product
• Achieving mutual benefits
Both parties in a transaction must be satisfied and happy – Al Yousuf enjoys a high level of
repeat business
• Giving and receiving trust and loyalty
A large number of Al Yousuf staff have been with the company for more than 20 years. Indeed,
the company has many second, and sometimes third generation, employees
• Delegating authority, not simply delegating responsibility
Staff are encouraged to develop and then empowered to implement their own ideas. As a result,
Al Yousuf has established a reputation for innovative and exciting marketing initiatives

The rapid expansion of Al Yousuf, however, has been achieved not only through adherence to
these values and principles, but also through Yousuf Habib Al Yousuf’s shrewd recognition of
opportunities and his willingness to persist with a business or agency that he believes in.
Confident of the business environment created by the leaders of Dubai and the UAE, Yousuf
Habib Al Yousuf is always prepared to take prudent risks. And his judgement has invariably
proved correct.
Corporate Social Responsibilities

Analysis & findings
Every organization wants to attract, motivate, and retain the most qualified employees and match
them to jobs for which they are best suited. Human resources, training, and labor relations
managers and specialists provide this connection. In the past, these workers performed the
administrative function of an organization, such as handling employee benefits questions or
recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff in accordance with policies established by top
management. Today's human resources workers manage these tasks, but, increasingly, they
consult with top executives regarding strategic planning. They have moved from behind-the-
scenes staff work to leading the company in suggesting and changing policies.
In an effort to enhance morale and productivity, limit job turnover, and help organizations
increase performance and improve results, these workers also help their companies effectively
use employee skills, provide training and development opportunities to improve those skills, and
increase employees' satisfaction with their jobs and working conditions. Although some jobs in
the human resources field require only limited contact with people outside the human resources
office, dealing with people is an important part of the job.
There are many types of human resources, training, and labor relations managers and specialists.
In a small organization, a human resources generalist may handle all aspects of human resources

work, and thus require an extensive range of knowledge. The responsibilities of human resources
generalists can vary widely, depending on their employer's needs.
In a large corporation, the director of human resources may supervise several departments, each
headed by an experienced manager who most likely specializes in one human resources activity,
such as employment and placement, compensation and benefits, training and development, or
labor relations. The director may report to a top human resources executive.
