ISFCS2012 is organized by the Faculty of Mechanical

Engineering G.I.K Institute to develop knowledge in all

branches of Computational Sciences and its related

areas. The Symposium serves as good platform for

engineers, specialists and researchers across the

world, to meet with each other and join to exchange the

recent achievements in the area of Computational

Sciences. The conference has the focus on the frontier

topics in the theoretical, mathematical and scientific

developments in Computational Sciences as well as

applications of established techniques for the

optimization to new fields of industries. It will be a

worthy forum for the real world experts and researchers

from academia and industry to present their findings in

various disciplines of Computational Sciences. A

number of leading researchers in different fields of

Computational Sciences will be invited to deliverkeynote lectures. The ISFCS2012 will be held in

Islamabad PAKISTAN during June 28-29, 2012.

Combining a rich history, the confluence of many a

civilization and temperate climate, Islamabad - the

capital city of Pakistan, is one of the most beautiful

cities in the South Asian region. A meticulously

planned city, Islamabad is the fastest growing city in

terms of population, economy and urban

development. As this trend continues, the city is

shedding its reputation as a city without character, and is fast becoming truly metropolitan.

It is predicted that the next decade will experience an

explosive growth in the demand for accurate and reliable

numerical simulation and optimization of engineering

systems. Computational Sciences will become even more

multidisciplinary than in the past and many technological

tools will be, for instance, integrated to explore biological

systems and submicron devices. This will have a major

impact in our everyday lives. Airplanes, rails and cars have

become better and faster than ever. Dams, bridges and

buildings have become larger and stronger than ever, all

thanks to the fast and reliable means of computer aided

design and analysis. There is no doubt that the importance

of the field of computational sciences is incontestable.

Computer simulations have become tool of the trade in

engineering design and analysis. This has become possible

due to the rapid advancements in Computational Methods

and Computational Platforms. The theme of this symposium

is the real need of this time. Indigenization of these

technologies is of critical importance to the development of

our abilities to solve our own problems.
