Both the Junior High and Senior High band members dedicated their time and effort to prepare for the school’s first ever concert / performance at Esplanade. We were honoured and thrilled to be invited to perform at this prestigious venue as part of the Esplanade’s Limelight concert series. To add on to our experience of performing at various external venues, the band was presented with the opportunity to have a one-hour performance at Singapore Botanic Gardens, one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. We were blessed with good weather as our members performed melodious pieces amidst the spectacular tropical flora set in a stunning verdant landscape.

This year, the band members finally went on their long-awaited learning journey. Though Malaysia is just a stone’s throw away from Singapore, we relished this experience to spend more time together and to learn from our twinning school, Sekolah Seri Puteri.The band also gained many important takeaways from participating in Malaysia’s International Wind Orchestra Festival.

As we move forward together as one, let us continue to inspire everyone with our hard work and passion for music. 军乐队一家人!
