Franke sinks are Food Preparation Centres. The benchtop space is maximised by utilising accessories such as chopping boards, strainer trays, strainer bowls and rollamats.

18/10 means that there is 18% chromium and 10% nickel. This stainless steel is 304 grade which is commonly referred to as surgical grade and is used for maximum durability.

Fragranite sinks are made out of 80% quartz and 20% methylmethacrylate (resin). The quartz sand, which is fired at high temperature, is colour-pigmented.

Franke maximises space in your under bench cupboard by designing most of the sinks to have wastes to the rear of the main bowl.

The stainless steel clips are welded to the side of the bowl and rail. The installer only needs to put silicone on the cut-out edge and push the sink into the cut-out.

Franke round overflow is designed to ensure that the sink never overflows. Franke looks for kitchen solutions with practicality, the best hygienic levels and the best cosmetic look.

Sound deadening pads are installed to reduce noise levels when pouring or running water into the sink.

Franke sinks with integrated sealing strip ensure sinks are water sealed with a factory-applied, inert polyurethane sealant on the underside of the rim edge.

CHOOSING YOUR PERFECT SINKThe kitchen sink is seen as the heart of the kitchen, it’s the perfect starting point for creating your dream kitchen. Let your imagination run free with a range of fabulous options to help you maximise space and accentuate the look of the entire room.

There are however certain functional considerations to take into account and the following information will help to ensure that your ideal sink is the perfect fit for your ideal kitchen.

BOWL & DRAINER CONF IGURATIONThe type and position of your bowl depends on how you intend to use your sink. If you like room to clean large items like grill pans, a larger single bowl may be best for you, or for a multi-functional purpose, you may prefer the versatility of two separate working bowls. For multi-bowl undermount sinks, it is important to decide which side you require the smaller bowl.

The drainer location is also an important consideration. For many sinks you will need to choose the specific version you prefer with drainer on the left or right hand side. Whereas other sinks are reversible which indicates the drainer can be positioned on either side.

This brochure demonstrates the huge breadth of styles available and in some ranges there are several configurations to choosefrom in the same style.

INSTALLATION TYPESSinks can be installed in 3 ways depending on your kitchen worktop and your preference:

TOPMOUNT SINKSTopmount sinks are installed from above into a pre-prepared hole in your worktop. It gives you the widest range of sink shapes, sizes and styles to choose from.

UNDERMOUNT SINKSUndermount sinks are installed underneath the work surface and therefore require a solid surface worktop such as granite, they are not compatible with laminate work surfaces.

FLUSHMOUNT SINKSFlushmount sinks feature a single thickness edge allow a slimfit to the benchtop which can also be recessed resulting in a flush fit with the surface

TAP WARRANTY NOTICE

Franke taps purchased through Reece have a full 5 years parts and labour warranty and a further 10 years applies to the cartridge only, plus any faults in product construction, materials and assembly. Large and heavy taps should ideally be mounted directly through the solid benchtop or fully supported from underneath. For all other swivel taps, we recommend the use of the Franke Tap Support Arm (provided with tap). Please ensure all Franke tapware is installed at a pressure of no greater than 500 kPa in accordance with AS/NZS3500 and insist that your plumber flushes all of the water supply lines before installing tapware. Failure to do so may void warranty.

DESIGNER SERIES WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

During the Warranty Period, Franke will either repair or replace defective components at no charge to the customer. Franke has the right to replace the defective Appliance with an Appliance of the same value if Franke determines that repairing the Appliance is not cost effective.

Where the Appliance is situated outside the normal servicing area of the Franke authorised technical service network, the purchaser is responsible for payment of the service agent’s travelling costs to the place of installation or repair. Franke is not liable for the cost of freight incurred as a result of the Appliance (or any part) being forwarded, collected or returned following repair. Such charges remain the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Except as set out above and to the extent Franke may not lawfully exclude liability, Franke will not be liable for any loss or damage (including consequential, exemplary, punitive or incidental loss or damage) however caused, including negligence, which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly from, or in connection with, the Appliance or any failure of or defect in the Appliance.

The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies a purchaser may have under any Commonwealth, State and/or Territory laws which cannot be lawfully excluded.

This Franke appliance (“Appliance”)is guaranteed against manufacturing defect for 2 years from the date of purchase “Warranty Period”.

To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact the Franke National technical service centre (03) 9700 9100. Proof of purchase is required showing details of the supplier, the date of purchase and the product identification number.

This warranty is only valid if the following conditions are met:

• The Appliance is only used for domestic use in Australia and New Zealand;

• The Appliance has been installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the operating instruction booklet provided with the Appliance;

• The Appliance has been installed in accordance with all governing energy regulations;

• The defect, damage to or failure of the Appliance constitutes or arises from a manufacturing defect in the Appliance and is not:

(a) due to any repair, adjustment or other work performed by a person other than an authorised Franke technical service agent;

(b) due to the use of non-genuine parts;

(c) due to negligent operation of the Appliance;

(d) caused during shipping; or

(e) due to an event of force majeure.
