    3 ObjectivesThe course aims to provide the student learn how toscan physical objects and print virtual models. Thestudent will also be able to make an assessment ofwhere the different methods are most effective andworth using.

    4 ContentThe course will give: an overall understanding of work with both 3Dscanners and 3D printers. knowledge to create and print gaming related

    objects and design production prototypes.

    5 Aims and learning outcomesAfter completion of the course the student should: understand the technical aspects of both 3Dscanner and different 3D printers. be able to create virtual models for 3D printing. be able to describe a work process both visually,verbally and in writing. be able to organize a project.

    6 Generic skillsThe following generic skills are trained in thecourse:

    Independent work. Oral and written communication.

    7 Learning and teachingTeaching will mainly be held in swedish (englishliterature). Teaching will be in the form of lectures,seminars, projects, supervision and presentation ofthe students work.
