WINE MASTERCLASS WITH AMANDA YALLOPJoin internationally renowned and award-winning sommelier Amanda Yallop on an educational and interactive journey through the world of wine. Let Amanda present your bespoke selection of matched wines to your party as each course arrives at the table, complete with short wine tasting and discussion throughout your event. Guests can enjoy a journey through a region, such as Piedmont where they can try the best the terrior has to offer or rather a vertical tasting of a celebrated wine such as Barolo.
OYSTER AND CHAMPAGNE MASTERCLASS A masterclass celebrating the world’s greatest and most famous pairing – oysters and champagne. The experience includes an oyster shucking demonstration and champagne tasting with OTTO’s Executive Chef Richard Ptacnik and Fink’s Wine Director and award-winning sommelier, Amanda Yallop. Guests will don OTTO aprons and enjoy an engaging and interactive session about Australian oysters, their varieties and how to shuck them, all whilst sipping and learning about one of the world’s finest champagne, Charles Heidsieck.
PASTA MASTERCLASS Regularly topping the list of best pasta in Sydney, OTTO now offers guests an opportunity to learn the secrets behind our famous dishes. Our pasta classes are a fun, hands on experience and a great way to engage with your guests before sitting down for lunch or dinner with matched wines. The class takes place in our waterside Terrazzo offering guests spectacular harbour and city views.
COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS Learn the secrets of the trade with our hands-on cocktail making masterclasses. Join our Bar Manager to make three of Italy’s favourite cocktails, all perfect to enjoy waterside at OTTO. The masterclass includes an Italian aperitivo spread ahead of three course lunch menu with an option of BYO.
