Swords of Defense Presentation to GC Phillip Feigel May 29, 2018 Rex Lodge 551 bestowed Grand Chancellor (GC) Phillip Feigel (left in photo at right) with the “Shield” at its 20 th Annual Swords of Defense Grand Chancellor honor night, Tuesday, May 29. Like the 19 Grand Chancellors preceding him, GC Phil Feigel received an historical Pythian Sword from Rex Lodge 551. PDSC David Peltzer (Yorktown Lodge 859; right in photo at right) officiated over the presentation ritual he devised. Over 100 people witnessed the presentation which remains one of the most popular of all the GC gift presentations. A dinner courtesy of Rex Lodge preceded the ceremony which took place at Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall in Brooklyn.
