products perform best onButtercream (oil-based) Icing

If using Whipped (water-based) Icing,

DecoShapesproducts can only be

applied the day of the cake order.

Bleeding of color or change in the

texture will occur within 2 days of

placing the items on the icing.

Products sustain the elements the best

when decorated and finished cakes are

either boxed for customer pick up or

placed in the cake case.

To avoid the Fondant DecoShapes

products from drying out, always store

the products in an airtight container

when not in use. Recommend using

#6217 Storage Container.

Applying Fondant DecoShapes

products that have become dry to icing

will increase the moisture and make the

product pliable.

Airbrushing Fondant DecoShapes

Allow airbrush color to dry completely

before applying product to cake.

Shelf life of cakes decoratedwith DecoShapes

Best Practices forapplying Gum Paste cakedecorations to cakes

Gum Paste products SHOULD NOTbeplaced on cakes and frozen. Bleeding ofcolor or change in the texture will occur.

Gum Paste products can be placed on

cakes immediately after they are iced or

after frozen base-iced cakes have been

allowed to thaw, 4-6 hours

Products sustain the elements the best

when decorated and finished cakes are

either boxed for customer pick up or

placed in the cake case.
